Bang in Wells

Really lovely Bed and Breakfast Every where was spotless we stayed in the Feather's room, our room was very spacious,the shower was amazing. We had breakfast & that was lovely, everyone was very friendly & chatty. We will definitely return.

We stayed in the Tewkesbury room which was light, spacious and peaceful. It had a very large and comfortable bed with good quality bedding. The bathroom was also big and super clean. The staff were all great and the food was excellent. All for a very reasonable price. Will be back!

We stayed in The Feathers room which was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean.Fresh water and milk replenished daily.Looked out on the courtyard and thought it may be noisy but this was not an issue.Excellent fresh food at breakfast both mornings with great service.We will definitely return.

Stayed one night passing through stayed in the Hayloft very cosy accommodation very clean and bright, stocked with tea and coffee and a very comfy bed, next morning welcomed with a full English breakfast of a very good standard… I always say I will definitely stay here again and never do, but in this case we definitely will 5 stars.

Great location a short walk from the water. Comfy, clean bedroom (the Hayloft is an attic room and was very hot! The fans provided helped though). Dog friendly. Delicious breakfast. There is free parking very close by (around Buttlands green) but can take a bit of time to find a space.

Decided to have a last-minute one night mental health break, and could not have chosen a better place to do it than Bang In Wells. I was greeted by a very friendly older gentleman who showed me to my room and gave me all the information I needed about how to access the building once the restaurant closed. He was also kind enough to get the kitchen to make me some dinner which he brought up to my room right after the restaurant shut - just the ticket when I didn't feel like being around a lot of people. I stayed in the Feathers room, which is described as dog friendly, but I did not find one dog hair anywhere - the cleaners do a fantastic job! There was a fridge with cold water and a small bottle of proper milk, along with the best selection of teas and hot chocolate I have ever found in a hotel. Bed was extremely comfortable and I had a wonderful night's sleep. Any item from the breakfast menu is included in your room rate, and I had a wonderful Full English before making my way home this morning. Every member of staff I came into contact with could not have been more friendly and helpful. Not the cheapest place to stay in Wells Next The Sea, but by far the best, and I will definitely be back!
