Worth House Bed and Breakfast

Good B&B in lovvely part of country Nice B&B, good service, good, clean and comfortable bedroom. Very well located for Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and the Somerset Levels. Also Glastonbury nearby with Bath & Bristol all day trip visitable However, the Mendip hills are lovely so if we come again we will be walking either in the hills or down on the somerset levels.

Great bed and breakfast Really nice bed and breakfast with comfy rooms.

Standing just outside the village of Wookey on a main road, the hotel is in an excellent position to explore the surrounding area. There are three pubs within walking distance or a short drive. The city of Wells is just two miles down the road. The house itself is a large period building with lots of charm. There is a comfortable guest lounge where you can buy, via ‘honesty book’, alcoholic beverages. All the rooms are up a couple of flights of stairs. The rooms are sympathetically decorated, in keeping with the building. Our room was a nice size with a comfortable double bed, overlooking the garden. Breakfast is served downstairs in the dining room. All tastes are catered for and even the most discerning palate should find something suitable. Your hosts, Sarah and Nick, are most welcoming and are your source for great local knowledge. We thoroughly recommend Worth House as a comfortable and friendly place to stay, in an ideal location for local attractions.

Great location for exploring the area, namely Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. Based very near to Wells, nice place to visit and quite a few options for dining. Host was nice and very accommodating, room was lovely and had everything you’d need.

This is an exceptional property! I loved my stay here sooo much in the gorgeous newly remodeled loft. I am so grateful to have found this gem and connected with the owner Sarah. I will be back!
