Liberty Apartment Hotel

Great place to stay right in the city. Love the decor very comfortable bed and all amenities you could ask for! And a lovely welcoming receptionist.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable spacious rooms. And central to all the activities we wanted to do in the city. Will stay again for sure.

We booked 2 apartments for our stay. We arrived to find our key cards weren’t left in the after hours check in box. When I called the number for after hour service it went through to voicemail and I left a message. After waiting for half an hour or so another customer came to collect her card also and we were all left standing outside in the cold. She managed to finally talk to someone and they came and let us into our rooms - two of our cards (for each apartment) didn’t work and because we had early kaupapa on in the morning we couldn’t sort the key cards out (no-one in reception until 9am). The couches were stained and the furniture was tired. The location is exceptional, just walking distances to bus stops, shopping, Te Papa etc. the final kick in the guts though was that the hotel had charged my credit card after I called last week to say we were paying prior to our arrival. Very sloppy tbh!
