Yuehai Park, with its fantastic children's playground, is right downstairs, and my kids always have a blast there every year! Manager Yuan from the reservations department was incredibly helpful. She proactively reached out to discuss our requirements and assisted with all our check-in arrangements. The view from our deluxe sea view room was absolutely breathtaking! The iconic lighthouse right next to the hotel makes for amazing photos, and the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious options. I used to consider looking for a property in Weihai since I visit every year, but now I realize staying at this hotel is far more convenient!"

"My stay was absolutely terrible, here’s why: 1. On the first night, in the room on the 8th floor, there were an excessive number of bugs, even on the bed. I got bitten all over, and the electric mosquito repellent did nothing. 2. The back of the hard pillow in that first room was covered in someone else's hair. 3. The soundproofing was awful. I could hear planes flying overhead in the middle of the night as if there was no insulation at all, and conversations in the hallway were crystal clear. 4. When I complained to the front desk the next day, they only offered a room change, with no apology or compensation. The staff just said, 'That certainly affects the guest experience.' To make matters worse, the new room had a strong, unpleasant smell when we returned that evening, even after it had supposedly been cleaned. 5. There were bugs in the beverage dispenser at the self-service breakfast. When I reported it, the hotel's first reaction wasn't to remove the contaminated dispenser. 6. When I asked for disposable takeout containers, the staff member dug their fingers into the inside of each container as they handed it to me. 7. On the first day, when I was trying to open my door with the key card, a staff member told me to swipe the card to operate the elevator (it felt like talking to a robot). 8. At check-out, I handed my key card to the male front desk staff. After nearly 20 minutes, he still hadn't processed my check-out, which meant I couldn't leave a bad review. Another 20 minutes passed, so I went to another female front desk staff member, who finally helped me and offered some small gifts (a fridge magnet, a keychain, a phone stand, and a set of toiletries). 9. After changing rooms, the front desk actually called me to ask if I had checked out. Their internal communication is clearly a mess. 10. The carpet in the new room had a lot of dirt and uncleared hair, indicating a very superficial cleaning. The staff member even seriously claimed that they 'fought' with the housekeeping staff to get us that room. 11. There were small flying insects all around the coffee machine in the hotel lobby's water bar, and despite my telling them, nothing was done. The hotel entrance also had swarms of tiny flies. The hotel's explanation was that the large temperature fluctuations recently inevitably attract bugs. 12. Picture 3, taken right after entering the 8th-floor room on the first day, shows the bed wasn't even made properly. Also, people were smoking in the laundry room at night, and no one intervened; there were no smoke alarms. The same happened with people smoking in the elevator."
