"My home away from home. I love this place. My family loves this place. Grounds always tidy. Staff always super friendly and helpful. We like buying ice from here. It’s the pebble ice like from Chick Fil A. 2 bucks a bag. We prefer lakeside cabins in hotter weather and glamping in October. Hotter months have a lot more bugs vs colder months. Lakeside cabins have full bath, toilet and kitchenette with pots n pans n silverware and knives like a timeshare. 4 person capacity. We always take a walk after breakfast to go see their animals on the property and we also drive by the animals on the way out. I have nothing bad to say about Holmstead Ranch. It’s a wonderful place to stay and relax. Great value overall. Thank you Holmstead Ranch! We’ll see you soon"

My friend and I sat outside roasting marshmallows, sipping wine, and watching the stars slowly fill the sky. It was quiet, magical, and so peaceful — the kind of night you wish could last forever. In the morning, we walked to the cozy lobby café, where they offer coffee, granola, and yogurt — simple but perfect. The whole space feels like a little community of travelers who love nature and good design. "Will never stay here again. We had NO hot water during our stay and the management refused to accommodate us. They kept pushing our complaint to another person and we never did get a chance to voice our complaint. I suggest that you stay away from this hotel and avoid a HORRIBLE stay and poor service. To add to our disaster, the breakfast that was provided ran out of food and the staff snarled at the hungry travelers when they questioned the poor service. WHAT A MESS THIS PLACE IS!!!!!!!"

We got put in a pet friendly room this time and were told that’s all they had so maybe that was the difference. Don’t want to stay again if we get put in a room like that."
