I wish I could give this hotel a -5, unfortunately that’s not available so I will try to write down how extremely poor the service and the owners of this hotel treat their valued customers. My wife and I travel 300 nights a year for business. We recently purchased a business in an adjoining town and decided to try this hotel as it was the best Marriott property available with an easy driving distance. We have numerous employees that will stay at this hotel as our corporate structure needs to travel to the business we purchased. We will never allow any of our employees to stay at this hotel going forward and I hope this review helps you to make a better choice as well. Upon checking in the front desk clerk was unable to run three of my credit cards making a situation for us that ended up being embarrassing. It was her machine not our credit cards. Well this is aggravating, we understand when people have trouble and it wasn’t that big a deal. When we got to the fourth floor it was filled with smoke. We understood this to be a non-smoking hotel, unfortunately the hotel does not enforce that. We had to go back down as no one would answer at the front desk and they said they would address it. Fat chance. The next morning we went to work and returned after a long 12 hour day to a room that had not been cleaned, nor had coffee service been placed in the room. Again we went to the front desk to find out that even though we pay full price, they use the covet excuse to not clean rooms in this hotel unless you specifically ask. Unfortunately they don’t tell you upon check in nor do they have a song. I guess they expect we all should be able to read minds. We did go ahead and request the ruby queen and towels replaced the next day. This is where the trouble really starts . Upon returning to our room the next evening we find that whoever room acted like a petulant child doing something to the bed making it, throwing the blanket for personal items that were on the couch and not emptying any trash. Oh did I mention, they didn’t replace any of the coffee service either. They did make it eventually clear, through their work quality, that they were pissed off that we asked them to simply clean our room. At this point we return to the front desk yet again, for the third night in a row. I discussed it with the lady at the desk who was quite surprised what happened. I asked the owner of the hotel call me, was posted on the wall. So can you get it? He didn’t find us important enough to actually call or act like he was interested. Based on the way his business is run, I can see who is responsible for this horrible customer service situation. I fish always rots at the head! Beware of this hotel, you would be better served and staying in a non-brand locally owned motel if you were ever in Warrensburg, Missouri
