Royal Albion Walton

A wonderful stay at the Royal Albion. Andrew, Helen and the team couldn't be more welcoming or attentive. A delightful room with panoramic seats views, immaculately clean and well equipped. Little touches like real milk for tea and coffee and quality linen make all the difference. Lucky to have the time to enjoy a beer or two in the pub itself. Great value and a very welcoming bunch of locals. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gem of a venue.

The decor leaves a little to be desired but the rooms we stayed in, needed an extra night so moved rooms, were spacious, our first room with a lovely sea view and very quiet. Our room for our last night was opposite so no sea view but even more spacious. The fridge was useful for our drinks and we were supplied with cereal, milk, yoghurts and a croissant for breakfast plus bottled water. I found the mint chocolates a nice touch. We were able to book in when we arrived at midday and changing rooms on the Friday morning was very easy. The beds were very comfortable and the showers in both rooms very good. We left dirty crockery outside the room and picked up the clean on our return. Clean towels and more toilet rolls were supplied without being asked after two nights. We will definitely stay again next year

We love our regular visits tho the Royal Albian in Walton. Great location for all Walton has to offer with the benefit of comfortable, homely, clean and well equipped accommodation. We always feel totally at home and enjoy the in room breakfast facilities (this is much better for us as a family than getting up early and heading down to a serviced breakfast, much more relaxed). Beds are super comfy, hosts are fab and there if you need them. Wifi and towels is a bonus and the kids love the stick of rock. Were only sad they shut for winter as we love Walton all year round.

We stayed here for two nights to celebrate our granddaughter's first birthday. The receptionist/lady behind the bar wasn't welcoming or friendly, not a good start!!! The young man who showed us to our room later was excellent and helped carry our suitcases as my husband has trouble walking. The room and bathroom were a good size. Clean white sheets, towels and room. There was a fan, clock and fridge in the room. The bar had a good selection of beers/lagers on tap. The free breakfast!!!! was; Individual cornflake boxes, Strawberry yogurt Small chocolate crossiant Milk in fridge Yes there was a table and two chairs in the room to eat it but not what we were expecting for a breakfast. Once you had finished with your breakfast, you placed the empty items on a tray outside your room. There was the usual tea, coffee, sugar etc plus a container of digestive biscuits which my husband enjoyed. There are only 4 parking spaces available for 10 letting rooms, you couldn't park there until 13.00, rooms from 15.00, bar food until 16.00, bar closes at 20.00. The hotel is in need of decorating and updating.

Booked a room overnight 17/7/22. Contacted Andrew and was able to drop bag and collect keys earlier than normal due to a family event. Room simple clean excellent laundered bedding and towels . fridge full with milk yoghurt along with tea coffee making facilities cereals etc. I had an issue with water coming through the bathroom ceiling above . Contacted Andrew .he picked up in two rings and was attending the issue in ten minutes. I was offered another room but the leak was tapped and no real issue. 19/7/22 I received flowers a small token to apologise.WOW Very overwhelmed . Thanks Andrew Helen and team 🙏🙌🤩

Stayed here for a night in the family room and was really impressed. Room was large and clean. Facilties were great better than.mpst hotels at this price range and great little touches like free bottles of water, crousents and cereal and even a stick of rock on both the kids bed for them. Amazing sea views which is nice to wake up to. Staff really friendly even taking time to show us to our room. Would defiantly recommend and would defiantly stay again thank you
