Walpole Hotel Motel

This place is in urgent need of a complete upgrade, it’s very run down - Lino was lifting in places and there was mold in the bathroom, we only had one wash basin that was for both washing yourself and the dishes! It was located outside the bathroom and was heavily stained also there is no wifi to any of the units. I guess the only positive thing I can say is that the bed was clean and comfortable. Also I agree with the negative restaurant reviews, I hope the owners realise the potential of this place and start to sort things out, but for now I’d stay elsewhere.

We had a one-night stay at this hotel on 28/12/2024. The bed was comfortable and clean, as was the bathroom. In our rush to check out, we accidentally left behind a phone charger. Upon realizing it was missing after we got home, we called the hotel. The staff were incredibly genuine and honest, confirming that the charger had been found. The hotel manager went above and beyond by kindly posting it to us in Perth free of charge—a true display of the Christmas spirit! What an amazing lady and exceptional customer service. It’s heartwarming to encounter such caring and thoughtful people when you least expect it. We are sincerely grateful for this kindness and will make sure to return to Walpole sooner or later. Thank you!

A good country hotel, quite basic, but comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful sleep. Parking right outside each of the units, but some of the parking spaces are tight. Bathrrom is spacious, but again quite basic. The adjacent restaurant serves amazing meals, see seperate review.

hi all, this little pub is lovely . we just had drinks and dinner . very good indeed . to those that have given bad comments , go and buy a old country pub with a limited no. of ppl in the town and you will soon change your mind and go belly up. service is very good , food is excellent drinks are far in price even the bottle of red was good !!

The place is a disgrace After emailing my complaint about the state of our room and the poor restaurant service I received a rude response which I have attached with the photos. Don’t waste your time or money. Not at all like the pictures on their website

Awesome lunch at the local pub for two, on a Friday afternoon. Thai beef salad and garden salad with chicken was Fremantle standard or better!. New management and better standard, friendly and helpful staff, great chef. Newly renovated, comfy dining chairs, very clean and fresh.
