It’s an absolute shocker of a hotel. Filthy rooms, worn out beds, stains and cigarette burns all over the furniture. It was a last resort, late night booking thanks to a calamitous error by Booking dot com. Unsurprisingly it was the only available accommodation in the area. Avoid at all costs. A park bench would have been more desirable.

Terrible. Had booked 2nights. Did not stay one night. Checked into another hotel. Upon arrival we were informed that the hotel is housing the homeless and a drug rehab centre. We were greeted with a lot

Night 1- stayed in room 304, if they try to assign you to 304, RUN. the mattress is al least 20 years old, there was a dirty sock over the smoke alarm, coffee splattered up the wall and what looked like blood on the curtain (obviously just guess it was blood not 100% sure). We've emailed the customer services about night number 1. Simply not good enough. Night 2- after going to reception explaining the situation the lady behind the desk was as helpful as she could of been, trying to give us an upgraded room for Night 2 which would have been much appreciated after having no sleep the first night, however after taking it higher we weren't entitled to this. WHAT A SURPISE! after some further discussion the Kind lady on reception offered us room 219, which admittedly was a twist to the weekend away because the bed was VERY comfy, the room looked immaculate and after meeting the cleaner in the hall way she was very polite and offered extra attention with the room should we need it. Overall assessment- The staff and cleaners are doing as good off a job as can be appreciated giving the fact the place is outdated and clearly not had to money pumped into it in a good while Hotel acceptable if your just wanting to lie your head down, for a good drinking weekend Budget as can be but cheap as chips Personally won't be going back but each to their own Rate this hotel 2 stars for night one And high end 3 stats for night 2
