I’m giving Meridian Adventure Dive Resort 5 stars because the diving experience was top-notch and the staff was truly outstanding—warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. Diving was the main reason we chose this resort, and Meridian Adventure absolutely delivered. The dive boats are fast, well-maintained, and the rental gear is in excellent condition—which was a big plus, as I didn’t want to haul my own equipment halfway across the world. We dove for 10 days, typically twice a day, and never repeated a dive site unless we requested it. The team—Ross, Simson, Abner, and the rest of the crew—were professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely fun to be around. They provide what they call “concierge diving”—I never had to lift a tank, and they handled everything seamlessly. The rooms aren’t 5-star luxury (more like a solid 4 to 4.5 stars for the region), primarily due to their compact size. That said, they’re very clean, with effective air conditioning, comfortable beds, and reliable WiFi—all things that many accommodations in the area struggle to offer. The pool is a great place to relax between dives, the food was consistently good, and while drinks at the bar were a bit on the pricey side, the overall atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. If you're coming to Raja Ampat for the diving and prefer to stay on land rather than a liveaboard, Meridian Adventure is a fantastic choice. They make it easy to focus on the underwater magic without compromising comfort or service.

Great dive hotel. Shout out to Ross, our dive guide, for taking us on epic adventures we were there. We are newly PADI certified and he was kind enough to give us a brief refresher on our first day prior to going out on a dive. Great hotel if diving is your main focus.
