Disney's Vero Beach Resort

We LOVE Vero Beach resort! The whole atmosphere is super calm. It's a hidden gem here in the Treasure Coast. It’s not your typical Orlando fluffed up busy top of the art resort with all the bells and whistles BUT it’s on the low key relaxing welcoming vibe. The staff is super kind and welcoming. We love the campfire & s'mores. Pin trading is always a lot of fun! It's beautiful. There's plenty of activities. They have hammocks outside everywhere to relax anytime of the day. Disney does really well at keep the bugs to an absolute minimum. I need their magical keep away bug power at home. You can hear the waves as they're just in the other side of the trees. I have seen reviews of people complaining about the beach after a storm or the water being murky. What people need to realize is Disney doesn’t own the beach but the county owns it. The resort just gets beach access. They do their best to keep it up and even maintain the beach once a year where they close it to add sand and whatnot.if a hurricane comes through and erodes the beach it isn’t disneys fault. If you have kiddos that come with you and you’re going to the beach as the cabin attendants if they can borrow sand toys. They usually have a ton they lend out. The restaurant is yummy and comes with the typical Disney prices but that’s is 100% expected. Don’t forget to get some dole whip in the market. We love this place.

We stayed at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort for New Year’s Eve and loved every minute of it! The resort had a fantastic pool party to ring in the new year, which was a great way to celebrate. The lobby had video games set up, which was a fun touch, especially for the kids. The drinks at the bar on the second floor of the lobby were excellent—great atmosphere and service. We also loved the soccer field across the street, a perfect spot to burn off some energy during the day. Everything about the stay made us want to come back, and we’re already planning a summer trip to experience it all over again. Highly recommend for a fun and relaxing getaway!

Disney does not disappoint! The whole entire resort is just so so nice. Super clean rooms, everything you need is provided for, the pool is heated in winter, 2 lifeguards on the pool all the way up to 10 pm even if there's nobody at the pool. It's a few steps to the beach as well. And the staff, outstanding, professional, friendly and accommodating. Everything you paid for and more. It is worth every penny that you pay. Our second time here and it won't be the last. We came this time with our family from Canada and they are in love with the resort. Thank you Disney, we will be back.

Disney’s Vero Beach was a wonderful paradise on the Florida coast! We visited for a few days before Thanksgiving and the resort was beautifully maintained, quiet, and provided several opportunities for activities. We began planning our return trip before we even left!

A review for Europeans visiting in October. We were looking for a relaxing weekend escape from the theme parks. Late October this Resort doesn’t live up to its hype, with its rough brown sea, small grey sand beach. Accessible Room requested 9 months earlier was not available. Family split on different floors. Partly accessible room was on 4th floor with view of the highway. The room smelled of damp, asked twice for dehumidifier without success. Beach very damaged by hurricane and inaccessible to disabled family member. Red flags up sea too rough to swim. Still a $26 per day charge for lounge chair on the small sand shelf that remained. Insects are a great nuisance, there are many warning notices on site. You will need to be covered in insect repellent (provided free) to go outside. Despite repellent one family member was bitten so badly they needed medical attention. Appreciate Disney can not control nature but not to warn guests in advance of their travel is very poor service. We found the Resort small and expensive. The pool is gated, a room key is required to enter and exit it and to receive your allocation of a towel. Staff are friendly and welcoming as you’d expect. We forfeited our points and left early. Oddly at check in, a passing guest called out to us “bet you wish you were back in England there’s no Newcastle brown or fish and chips here”. We are not English.

What a beautiful property. Can’t wait to return in the future. This was the perfect location to relax and recharge for the week ahead. Although we were here during a King tide season the beach was still great to walk along . It seemed that the higher tide and waves had pushed the sand up higher the normal . Unsure if this is a normal issue or an isolated incident. (See video of sand over hand rails) We were unable to experience kayak or paddle boarding but look forward to returning to try this out. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The layout was easy to manage and with the underground parking made this perfect. Food options were perfect from the grab and go location , quick serve and the Sit down restaurant everything was perfect. Activities at the pool for all ages. Pool party daily with games for kids and adults. Pool side bar and bike rentals . Rooms were comfortable and options to meet everyone’s need. From the Inn rooms, beach cottages and the vacation villas. We stayed in a delux studio in the villas . The room was close to the beach, felt secluded and noise was minimal. We had a small balcony to sit and listen to to the waves in the distance.
