In de zomer niet te druk en op de bonnefooi geboekt om naar Lomnicki Stitt te kunnen gaan. Heerlijk hotel met een fijne spa en een fijn zwembad. Prachtig uitzicht en heerlijk gelegen met goede parkeerplaats. Het personeel was zeer behulpzaam. Het eten was ook prima!

We stayed in the hotel during our trip to Lomnický Štít. The hotel is situated approximately 15 minutes walk from the train station. Very quiet part of Tatranská Lomnica not far from the mountains. Came bit early checked in and luggage left in the receptions cupboard. Here I would suggest to put a room tag on the luggage and when room ready put it inside rather then leaving it the reception room. It would be just an extra step to make a better impression. We stayed in the double room. Spotless clean, bathroom needs update but overall with minibar in the room I would give 4.5 stars for the room. Spa was absolutely amazing and I have visited many hotels before and their spa with lot of saunas, massages etc is comparable to 5 star hotels. Outside and inside pool, jacuzzi, bar makes it perfect place to spend time after all day hiking in Tatras. Public areas, toilets and lounge spotless clean and not busy. Absolutely loved the breakfast and is exactly the same standard what you get in 5 star hotels. Huge selection of food, drinks, polite and effective staff. Amazing. I want to say big thanks to Grandhotel Praha staff to make our stay memorable. My expectations I had before our stay were exceeded completely. Thank you.

Been here second time and will come again. We had breakfasts and dinners included and both been 10/10 every day. Food there is really good with many choices. Wellness is also 10/10 is big spacious and with everything What should be there plus there is outside pool too. Rooms are big and modern in that newer part of the hotel. Staff is friendly and profesional except for one slightly rude receptionist on our arrival, then we meet her again for few times another days and also on our check-out and she was ok. We spend lot of times out hiking and eating and it was very easy to get everywhere from the hotel or from Tatranská Lomnica. But they should add extra train carriage on peak times. Then Tatranská Lomnica also need to wake up a bit as to compare it to Zakopane for example where always something happen and somwthing going on and live music is almost everywhere and atmosphere is much better, Tatranská Lomnica is not like that. Anyway this hotel worth a visit our overall experience was both times 10/10 and if you visit do not skip Stará mama restaurant closed to train station with Slovakian traditional food and go for a hike in those beatiful mountains. There are lot of hikes for begeniers too or just stay and relax is this amazing historic wellness hotel in mountains.

We have been In this hotel for New Years Eve. Hotel is located In beautiful historical building from 1905y. Room 232 was very comfortable, elegant, well equiped with wonderful view. Bathroom little out of date. Beds are comfortable. Ski room is outside, In front of the hotel. Parking. Amazing spa with saunas, indoor and outdoor heating pool with bobles ( You can lay and observe the moon and stars). Outdoor jacuzzi and sauna. You get towel and special sheet to sauna. Swimming Pool and spa are open from 9 am to 9 pm! Breakfast is excellent! Dinner to. Huge selection very tasty food. Weiters are profesional. They put knives, forks and spoons on table In white gloves! Every evening is wonderful live piano music In the lobby. Party for New Years Eve was elegant, with delicious food with live music and super concert Gladiator group. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. They have only one thing to change. It is coffee. Coffee is realy not tasty.

Liked · The hotel is built and designed in a way how I imagine old luxury hotels with grace. Staff is very professional and very attending. Although we were visiting on last weekend before December (the ski season was still off, and lift to Skalnate Pleso and Lomnicky Stit has been serviced, so was off as well), the hotel was quite full. Food was very good, breakfast very rich, dinners with pianist. Room was very pleasant, bed was fluffy, I was especially glad that we had valley view and not the parking place view. Disliked · It´s not the fault of the hotel, but we wanted a massage, wanted to reserve it immediately after we came, but it was already fully booked for the entire weekend. Also during our stay the nice outdoor pool was under reconstruction, so it was closed. All is good, because we were informed upfront, on the hotel´s website. Hotel is part of chain of hotels in the area, and to the mother company (TMR) belongs also few ski slopes in the area. If you have a card called "goPass" and you are accomodated int he hotel, you get free ticket for every day of accomodation to use in any lift which operates at the moment. That we wanted to use on Sunday after we checked out from the hotel, we went to Strbske Pleso to take a lift to Solisko and unfortunately we found out that the card wasn´t charged. So that is what wasn´t working. I am unaware is I had to explicitly say that I want to go there, or is there was just a mistake happening, but result is that this benefit I wanted to use and couldn´t.
