Lam Garden Boutique Homestay

Our stay at Lam’s Garden Boutique Homestay in Hue was truly unforgettable. The hosts, Lam and My, are among the warmest and most dedicated hosts we’ve ever met. They provided us with numerous recommendations for local restaurants, adventures in the area, and more. On-site, we conveniently rented a moped to explore the city and its surroundings. The rooms are not only beautiful and spacious but also impeccably clean—worthy of more than five stars! Breakfast was abundant and delicious, featuring freshly prepared soup, fresh fruits, bread with jam, omelets, along with coffee and orange juice. Here too, we’d gladly give more than five stars. We’ve fallen in love with this homestay, largely due to the wonderful hosts. When we return to Vietnam, a visit to Lam and My is a must. Additionally, we enjoyed an unforgettable transfer from Hue to Hoi An with Lam! Traveling comfortably by car through stunning rural landscapes, we encountered beautiful rice fields, impressive family temples, and incredibly remarkable cemeteries. We’re glad we chose this trip with Lam instead of options like LeFamilyRider (moped). Firstly, the car ride was comfortable for the long journey; secondly, we could stop anytime for photos or questions (Lam speaks excellent English and has many stories to share!); and thirdly, we experienced much more than the typical tourist itinerary. We highly recommend this homestay to anyone staying in Hue. The hosts’ tips, tours, and their hospitality are 110% recommendable! Overall rating: 10 out of 5 stars! Simply amazing. Fantastisch Bester Homestay! Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und fürsorglich und unterstützen mit wertvollen Tipps oder bei der Tourenbuchung. Super Standort in ruhiger Strasse. Das Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet und erfreut das Herz. Alles sehr sauber und superschnelle Internetverbindung. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier Übernachten.

Lam and My are a wonderful couple running their friendly family Homestay. If you want a typical western hotel this is not for you …. but for charm and care of their guests it cannot be beaten. My cooks the breakfast and the choice and quality is superb. Our room was open, clean, with comfortable beds and quality bedding. There is good strong wi-fi, air conditioning if needed and fridge. Lovely to sit out on the balcony and have a few beers. Nothing is too much trouble. We took up Lam’s offer to drive us to see some of the best parts of Hue - well thought out itineraries to fit our interests and level of fitness. We would like to thank Lam, My and their two boys for welcoming us into their family. Would not hesitate to recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was excellent and the host also catered to our wishes. He once made us the famous Pho Bo soup with crab meat, which was very tasty. The tours offered by the host Lam are also excellent. For example, we went to a market in the countryside, which we really enjoyed. He speaks fluent English. Communication went smoothly.

Bij de aankomst kregen we onmiddellijk een warm welkom. Lam en My zijn de perfecte gastheer en gastvrouw. De homestay is super proper en de kamers zijn heel goed. Het ontbijt is fantastisch! My maakt een heerlijke en uitgebreide maaltijd klaar, je komt niets tekort. Ze zijn zo lief en hebben 2 schattige zoontjes. Lam gaf ons goede uitleg over Hue en fantastische tips waar naartoe te gaan en waar te eten. We genoten heel erg van ons verblijf! Lam garden homestay, een grote aanrader!
