My husband and I had the most incredible experience at Hotel Theresia. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Maria, whose warmth and hospitality instantly made us feel welcome and cared for. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, and her kindness truly set the tone for the entire trip. Our room was stunning, immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true retreat. Every detail of our stay was handled with care, and we were constantly impressed by the level of service and attention. Maria truly set the bar for hospitality. In Italia ci sono tanti bei posti da vedere e tanti resort a 5 stelle, Vulcano e’ tra questi ma il Therasia oltre alle 5 stelle è luxury per tutte le persone che ci lavorano che ti riscaldano il cuore ad ogni attenzione a te riservata ,la mia è stata una VACANZA indimenticabile porterò nei miei ricordi tutti perché unici nella loro professionalità e gentilezza …grazie Michela grazie Ciro grazie Ivana e tutti quelli che che hanno contribuito a farmi sentire in famiglia ..la loro la mia..

Non ho mai fatto una recensione né negativa né positiva in vita mia, semplicemente perché non ne ho mai avuto motivo… fino ad ora. Purtroppo l’esperienza al Therasia è stata davvero deludente e lontana anni luce da quello che ti aspetti da un 5 stelle. Parto dallo staff: impreparato e a tratti anche maleducato. Più volte siamo passati davanti al personale senza ricevere nemmeno un buongiorno o un buonasera, il minimo sindacale in un albergo di questo livello. Il ristorante “I Grusoni”: vergognoso. Ho ordinato un cuberoll da valore di 40€ e mi sono ritrovata 3 pezzetti di carne fredda con sopra una salsa immangiabile e dei calamari alla Luciana che mi hanno fatto dubitare del sugo alla Luciana, salatissimi, gommosi.. non commentabili. Non sono solita commentare il cibo perché ogni ristorante ha il suo stile, ma in un 5 stelle una portata così è semplicemente imbarazzante. La piscina: servizi INESISTENTI. Camerieri INESISTENTI, nemmeno un po’ di musica. Un QR code sbiadito stampato sul tavolino condiviso da due lettini (che abbiamo scoperto solo più tardi da soli) essere l’unico modo per ordinare qualcosa. Nessuno ci ha spiegato niente. Il bagnino era un “tuttofare” da stabilimento anni 2000: sistemava le docce, faceva mille altre cose ma non controllava la piscina. Non certo per colpa sua, ma per evidente carenza di personale e manutenzione. La stanza: umidità assurda, al punto che siamo stati costretti a dormire con la finestra aperta al caldo. Probabile presenza di muffa, visto l’odore tremendo che impregnava la camera. Cuscini scomodissimi (opinione personale, ma comunque non da 5 stelle), water che perdeva acqua e, ciliegina sulla torta, ci sono entrati in camera senza nemmeno bussare. Colazione: abbondante e varia, sì. Ma vi sconsiglio vivamente di ordinare l’uovo alla Benedict: vi arriverà un mattone di pane raffermo con sopra una fettina microscopica di salmone e una salsa che con la Benedict non c’entrava nulla, frutta al piatto messa li a temperatura ambiente ingiustificabile. L’unica vera nota positiva: il ristorante “Il Cappero” 1 stella Michelin. Qui finalmente si respira aria da 5 stelle: menù degustazione impeccabile, piatti emozionanti, servizio elegante e professionale. Complimenti di cuore allo chef, al pasticcere e al cameriere con gli occhiali (non ricordo il nome, purtroppo), che con passione e competenza hanno salvato la serata. Un grazie speciale a Lorenzo alla reception per l’accoglienza davvero cortese e anche alla ragazza che dall’aperitivo ci ha accompagnati al ristorante: gentilissima, educatissima e raffinata. Momento d’onore comico, avevo finito la recensione qui, poi è successo un qualcosa che mi ha confermato la mancanza totale di professionalità del personale di questo albergo. Long story short.. siamo arrivati con la nostra moto all’isola di vulcano, per poi parcheggiarla al Therasia e prenderla oggi per tornare a casa, una volta arrivati alla nave al ritorno ci accorgiamo che abbiamo perduto le chiavi (wir

Per quello che paghi non vale la pena (45€ per un aperitivo con 1 drink e 4 mignon). Per prenotare il tavolo abbiamo dovuto chiamare 6/7 volte, pessima organizzazione. Anche quando siamo arrivati sul posto le cameriere erano un po’ disorientate… insomma servizio da ridere. posto magnifico.

Therasia Sea Resort & SPA is the best of both worlds. It is both a place and a feeling! No matter how well traveled you are, here the place will cast its spell upon you. It is the first time in my life (although having been to numerous dreamy destinations) that I could stay for hours and hours just watching the view and feeling like I could not get enough of it. There are some things that drew my attention while staying in this property: 1. The youthful staff. It was great to see all those young people highly committing to meet everyone’s needs. Always with a smile and willing to help you throughout the day. Marta and Maria really excelled in what they did (the rest of the staff were great too). 2. We were upgraded to a Premier Room which was such a nice gesture on the hotel’s behalf given the fact that they already knew we were on our honeymoon. Being thoughtful about extra details made us feel the spirit they put into what they do. Our terrace/ veranda was huge and we got to have view of the sea and the lush gardens. We would stay there for hours during the evening until midnight, just enjoying the beauty of the surroundings. 3. The hotel feels private yet not isolated and we had a regenerative and meditative experience provided by the fact that NOT in a single moment did we feel that the staff was pushy or uncomfortable. It nourished us with peace and quiet. Also, even though there may be 120 people around, given the fact that hotel’s facilities are distributed and well-appointed everywhere, you would feel like you own the place since never will you encounter a crowded space. 4. The breakfast is so good. Choices for everyone and an eye on the healthy choices for the more diet and wellness-oriented ones. I found Lamil very knowledgeable about the ingredients of different plates. He was so welcoming and nice that we could not imagine having breakfast without having him around. Noemi as well was really professional. Some staff members also spoke German besides English and that is good to know for German travelers (despite me not being German). 5. The shuttle bus to the port offered added commodity to those unwilling to go on foot for 2 km and reach the port by themselves. You only have to book in advance. Ciro, one of the drivers was always welcoming us with a genuine and authentic heart and smile. He really stood out with the extra care he provided for our luggage during our departure. 6. There are 4 pools, 2 of which with salty (sea) water. You can access the sea as well through stairway platforms. Just keep in mind that you have to climb some stairs to get to the upper-level pools, or climb down to the sea. The overall experience was really good. It was great to see the effort that almost everyone put into keeping up with the seasonal workload. We could see the gardeners at 6:00 am taking care of each flower and the rest of the staff serving as if they just had the shift starting. Alla prossima!
