For dinner recommended the historic Galbiani Restaurant & Wine Bar in historic Sibenik, where we enjoyed very much. Room spotless clean and well maintained, including a large balcony, and the swimming pool including the beachfront. Good Internet service which was very important to me. "We spent a week here on half board. We paid the extra for a sea view which was great, shame the bed collapsed the first night and the bedroom chair was filthy. We got changed/an upgrade to a 1 bed suite. The hotel uses those dispensers in the bathroom, the room only had shower gel and hand wash (the upgrade had shampoo, conditioner and lotion dispensers too). Drinks were very expensive, 9 euro for a miserable glass of not very palatable white wine and a scandalous 11 euro for Bacardi and coke! Food offering was buffet style, very good range of options but you needed to be early as they didn’t replenish much! This meant early dinner at 7 but too expensive to spend the evening in the bathroom. They moved us around different restaurant locations so no chance to establish our own waiter for service/tips for drinks (we were a party of 5). We were part of a group of 48 but we weren’t seated in a specific area so we never got a chance to break the ice properly. Hotel is on the (stony) beach, has fabulous extensive pools and seating areas. A 15-20 minute walk from town which is lovely, restaurants/bars/ice cream shops/ferry tours. Enjoyed our holiday but won’t be back."

"We went at an off-peak season but it was fine as rain showers passed quickly. Service at the standard was amazing and the pictures that you see on their website is an accurate representation of what the view and villas actually look like. Had a wide range of family activities, we enjoyed chilling by the pools and riding the bicycles all around the island. Really liked the sea life, saw stingrays, eagle rays, baby sharks and a wide array of fish. Our daily snorkeling was definitely a highlight of the trip. Also very much liked the disco ball in the toilet. Last but not least, we would like to make special mention of our friendly butler (Shamaau) who help us settle in and made us feel at home. He also helped recommend places to see and restaurants to eat at in Male which was our next port of call. #bestbutlerever This resort was one of the few places that we were sad to say goodbye to."
