Le Soleil d'or

The Marie Celeste Hotel. This was the first hotel that we have ever stayed in where there is literally not a single staff member in the hotel overnight. Check-in is meant to be from 1.00 pm but when we arrived at 5.00 pm the hotel was deserted. We sat in a pub in the square until 6.30 pm by which time a member of staff had driven up. We had magret de canard for dinner but the fat was raw having not been rendered. The same female staff member was the receptionist, the cleaner, the barmaid and the chef. On our second day's breakfast the only bread provided was sliced from the supermarket, a first in our experience. That being said, if all you want is a comfortable bed and save money to spend on dinner elsewhere then go for it!

A Charming Haven of Coziness and Originality I had the pleasure of staying at the most delightful and enchanting hotel in Fazana, and it was an experience that surpassed all my expectations. This gem in the heart of the city truly gives you the experience of how life would have been pre mass-tourism. From the moment we checked in (wich worked smoothly eventhough we checked-in late in the evening and the reception was closed), I was captivated by the hotel's unique ambiance. The interior design exudes the perfect rustic charm, creating an inviting and warm atmosphere that embraces guests with open arms. The attention to detail in the decor, with tasteful nods to local culture and heritage, added an authentic touch to my stay. The staff at this hotel are unparalleled in their hospitality. Each member of the team greets you with warmth and ensure that my every need was met. Their genuine smiles and friendly demeanor made me feel related and at home, and I truly appreciated their personal approach. Our room (Superior) was small for a family of 4, but with comfort and tranquility and two bathrooms. The bed was cozy, providing a restful night's sleep after a day of exploration. Being 1m91cm tall, the bed is almost too small for me (the quality of hotel beds are always a cliffhanger), but it works. The room had a great peek overlooking the main square and ocean, and in the afternoon the walls displays the suns playfull reflection in the ocean. We had the option of having windows

Good service, very friendly. At the square and harbour. A lot of restaurants but still not noisy.

Fantastisk sted ! Venlig personale, god morgenmad. Dårlig seng, og hele værelset og bad trænger til en opfriskning, er lidt dystert. Men byen er et sted alle bør se.
