Château de Pondres

L'allée d'arrivée est très cahoteuse, pas d'emplacement pour stationner et décharger les bagages, le parking clients est dans le parc sans signalisation claire, finalement la réception nous autorise à utiliser le parking pour personnes à mobilité réduite plus proche mais déjà très occupé alors que la clientèle est très réduite. Du fait du peu de clients le petit déjeuner proposé se fait par commande la veille et toujours facturé à 19 euros ! La chambre est correcte, la salle de bain n'est pas aussi grande qu'espérer avec une vasque et une douche et le WC n'est pas séparé. Pour un 4 étoiles... Pas de réfrigérateur et pas de machine à café mais une bouilloire avec des dosettes nescafé. Le ménage quotidien est à améliorer notamment pour la salle de toilette Donc prestations pas au niveau espéré...très déçu. Même si nous réservons en période creuse,nous méritons mieux et au moins la prestation de la saison haute. Nous n'avons pris aucun petit déjeuner et n'avons pas dîner au restaurant la Canopée car celui-ci était fermé 2 des 3 soirs où nous étions présents.

We were married here in Sept 2024 and it could not have been a more perfect experience. Our friends and family have rave reviews for their rooms, food, staff and overall experience. Could not rate our time more highly and highly recommend. Thank you to Laurent, Maya and the entire team for giving us the wedding of our dreams!!!

Not going to stay there never again. It was at leats weird. Staff did not speak decent english, just french. The parking is not well signed and it is like 200 meters from the hotel. At night the lights were off l, so getting from the parking to the hotel was not friendly at all. The room was not well clean. We found a fake nail at the bed table, also a rest of an eaten apple behind the window curtain. Also some hairs when we open a bed. There was a smell in the room like somody were cooking stew or something alike. As the restaurant in the hotel was closed we ask in advance ( 15 days) the hotel staff to book as a table at a nice nearby restaurant, they book us a table at a place that was 25 minutes far. We suggest to change the reservation to a closer location. They book as a table at a nearby crepe restaurant. When we arrived there and decided to not eat there we found in google a restaurant one block away that used to have a michellin star. Food and service was great. We couldn't get the chance to try their restuarant so before booking the hotel check if their restaurant will be open, if will not it does not worth to stay there, at all.
