"This hotel canceled my booking, which I had made several weeks earlier through *******, three (!) days before arrival, WITHOUT any explanation and without contacting me. I only received a short email from ******* stating that the hotel refused to process the booking (without explanation). Shortly before Easter, without a hotel reservation, I had to negotiate for three hours with *******'s hotline (in English) to get another hotel (it worked out and was quite nice, but far from Villanders and inconveniently located for us). I have (thankfully) never experienced anything so outrageous in my many decades of traveling. Since the hotel didn't care about my arrival, I also didn't care about their newsletter, which they constantly send me. Even my unsubscription from the newsletter was ignored. Quite creepy and more of a case for consumer protection. We stayed at this hotel many years ago, before the redesign. It was pleasant back then, but now it seems a bit "out of touch." Based on my experience above, I strongly advise against booking via online services, unless you like thrills and are fluent in English ;-)"

"Terrible experience. We went with our dog for €25 a day, for no service; they don't even have a lawn for them to play. The carpet in the hallway and on the stairs is dirty, full of hair and stained with urine stains. Breakfast was very poor: the croissants were defrosted and the donut was stale and dry... there was some cereal, but nothing else. A 4-star hotel with nothing. The furnishings are outdated; they should renovate the building. In the morning, we found a piece of glass and black hair from other dogs on our table; they only changed our table after we pointed this out. Mountain water costs €4.50; they fill bottles with their names written on them... They don't have a double mattress, but they put two single ones with springs. Ours weren't even the same height; we pointed this out and they put a topper on them. I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel to anyone."

"We stayed in this beautiful hotel with views of the Dolomites and we can only talk about it with enthusiasm. We have been welcomed with kindness and availability from the staff, and in particular from the Gasser family, whose careful and warm presence is one of the elements that make the stay really special. The rooms are very clean, clean and well-treated in every detail and we wake up every morning with a fantastic view. We have eaten very well and the dishes are prepared with care using local ingredients. The hotel also has a sauna and a swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of excursions. And just the excursions are one of the strong points: the location of the hotel makes it easy to reach the best paths and panoramic points of the Dolomites. Another aspect that we appreciated is the network of collaborations that the hotel has built on the territory. You can access a wide range of services such as bike rental, helicopter tours, outdoor activities and so on, making your experience even more rich and personalized. We will surely return!"
