Casa Vieques is situated on two hilltop acres with incredible sweeping views of the Caribbean and the surrounding meadows and hillsides. This is a nature lovers retreat with wild horses by day and awesome views of the Milky Way at night because of low light pollution. Some guests say they have never seen the Milk Way in their entire life until they stayed at Casa Vieques. If you are looking to relax and have a peaceful vacation Casa Vieques is the right choice. Close to everything but you will feel like you have escaped when you are sitting on the private 50 ft balcony watching the wild horses and the Caribbean. Casa Vieques is only two miles from the quaint village of Esperanza and 7 miles from Isabel Segunda. You will be close to some of the best beaches on the island. The construction of the home with one foot thick walls and foam insulation survived Hurricane Maria, a Category 5 Hurricane with no structural damage. Only a little paint was needed. Casa Vieques is in tip top shape, The entire front of the house opens to ocean views with four 8 ft by 8 ft. doors. The open air design allows the steady trade winds to flow through the house for quiet comfort provided by nature. Two Master suites are spacious with king size beds and wonderful open air showers that are very private . You will only need a sheet or light blanket to feel completely comfortable at night. You can get into the spirit of this escape listening to the gentle sounds of tree frogs, birds chirping and horses grazes on the hillside. Enjoy coffee in bed with a view. of the carribean. The living area has comfortable teak furniture which includes four club chairs, couch, side tables and coffee table. The deck has six Adirondack chairs with side tables for outside sunning and enjoyment. The kitchen is fully equipped with insulated glasses, pots and pans, full set of dishes, utensils, mixing bowls, chef knives and more. The refrigerator has an ice maker. There is also a coffee maker, toaster, gas cook top and combination microwave/convection oven. There is seating available on the piano bar and at a separate table for dining.
