Rooms

I was in a tiny room that used to be an attic. The floor was covered in dust and there was a random loud buzzing sound that would go off every couple minutes. It has what I need but is not the cleanest, and the bedding was uncomfortable.

Never again It was not possible to close the window in the room (it is winter). The battery in the digital door lock is running low, when I wrote about this to the service provider, I did not receive any response. There is no trash can in the room, one of the bedside lamps did not work, there were no clothes or towel hangers in the bathroom, nor in the room. The bed is very narrow. The environment, house elevator was dirty. The shutter on the window was torn. Hot water barely flowed.

Unfortunately the key code on the door would not work as someone had locked the door with the key as well as the code. We contacted the number provided in Wotif and they responded quite quickly, but gave us the code to the master key safe with the keys for every room in the hotel. This was a huge safety concern for us as we would not want anyone else having access to our room. They should just have the keys in individual lock boxes and forget about the key coded door, which also kept saying the battery was low when we were trying the code. The blind on the skylight window is also broken so it’s incredibly bright in the mornings and no way to avoid it. They need to fix the blind as it is impossible to sleep past sunrise. Only benefit was the location which is close to Vienna Hbf, but about 15 minutes by walking then public transport to the city centre.
