Lots to do around here. Perfectly located between the main town, Beacon Hill Park, James Bay, Fisherman’s Wharf and Cook village. Lovely accommodation with underground parking nearby. I’d 100% recommend. Everything walkable, red barn grocery store for all needs and a giant Thrifty if you need a huge shop!

Upon a late arrival due to a missed ferry I was surprised to find someone else's name on my door. I used the self check in code anyway and the door was deadbolted. They double booked my room and refused to even provide a partial refund for the circumstance and showed no empathy or understanding of the situation. My partner and I ended up having to pitch our tent and sleep on the streets of Victoria for the night.

Great location, quaint setting, quiet, clean, adequate room. Good enough for a last minute booking. Inn does not have AC. No worries- just forgot. Room did not have fan. Had a kitchenette and goodies for coffee/tea. Bottom line: would return and would recommend to family/friends.

Parks, shopping, attractions and so many great places to eat all within walking distance. No car needed. Comfy king size bed, huge soaker tub and separate shower with immediate hot water, small fridge, microwave and all essential cutlery etc. What more do you need?

Excellent customer service from Cindy, the owner. I was able to book over the phone and got text confirmation within minutes. She went above and beyond to accomodate my last minute booking and provided a great rate. Appreciate that the rooms are named after different artists.

The decor of the room was truly incredible. Location was steller and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The room had a very handy guide for nearby restaurants. Would highly recommmend this inn to any travelers in Victoria.

Very charming house, super close to the Royal Museum and walking distance to lots of great places to eat - we really liked Siam Thai on Fort Street. Room was very comfortable. Parking was secure and very convenient. Great service, will stay again if we get back to Victoria.

I stayed in a nice suite for over a month with my cat. I can’t begin to tell y’all how much I love staying there. Every single thing about this property is admirable. It was a very large suite, nicely furnished. It’s in an awesome location, conveniently located in the heart of the downtown, close to bus stops. It was really convenient place for my cat. The owner, Cindy, was very kind, welcoming, and friendly. It was amazing experience. Thank you so much for lovely treatment.

From the moment we arrived we felt at home! The Robert Porter Inn is quaint with old world charm and we loved how all the rooms were named after artists. We stayed in the Van Gogh which was down the stairs with a cute little sitting area outside. Cindy was so sweet when we arrived and the staff very accommodating. The bed was super comfortable and pillows soft and fluffy (I’m a stickler when it comes to my pillows). Location was great for walking around with the harbour just down the road. Our new go to spot to stay when on the island!
