Overall, IT WAS A CLEAR LACK OF RESPECT.
I booked two nights at Le Louis. During my check-in at 10:30 pm, I was mistakenly upgraded. By 10:50 pm, I was taking a shower when a staff member knocked on the door, planning to relocate me to the correct room. Given the situation, he left, but his colleagues called me five minutes later, saying that they could not accommodate the upgrade and that I should pack my suitcase immediately. I did so and waited for them.
They eventually called back and said I didn’t need to change rooms, so I unpacked again. Later, they called a third time to inform me that I would need to change rooms early the next morning.
The staff barely apologized, joking about the “smaller room” on day 2. They did not offer any compensation, nor did they waive the €30 parking fee. Again, IT WAS A CLEAR LACK OF RESPECT.
