Nice but basic Very nice staff but breakfast quite basic and room in need of updating.

Det gamle, mindre comfortable Venedig; fremragende Det er pragtfuldt endnu at kunne opleve det 'gamle' Venedig. Morgenmaden er ret dårlig - og helt perfekt. Der er kun én elevator og flere værelser har ikke airconditionering. Men man er på hotellet bevidste om at der er meget, overfladisk og miljøskadelige smartness i vores verden og vi tænke sig om. Det får man så også mulighed for at gøre som hotelgæst. Fremragende.

Skønt charmerende hotel Skøn lille hyggeligt pension. Fantastisk beliggenhed ved vandet lidt væk fra de værste horder af turister, men stadigvæk tæt på alt. Udsigten fra vores hjørneværelse var fantastisk. Det sødeste imødekommende og hjælpsomme personale man kan ønske sig. Fin morgenmad. Så på trods af den hårde hovedpude, vil jeg helt klart bo her igen hvis jeg kommer til Venedig igen.

Simple but unique Excellent place outside the busiest tourist area with excellent connections. I enjoyed reaching the main locations with short walk or few stops by vaporetto. Room was simple but the view: My personal preference is Giudecca canal with its busy - professional - traffic beats the busy tourist boat crowd on Canal grande any day, so no gondolas but fire brigade, police, ambulances, car ferries for Lido…

Un salto indietro nel tempo Lo staff di questo hotel è al top, disponibilissimo ad aiutarti per trascorrere un buon soggiorno! atmosfere retrò, un pò stile casa della nonna, buona la colazione.

Flot placering - dårlig seng og kaffe Flot placering, men meget hård seng og lokalet til morgenmad var meget trangt og selve maden under det niveau man kunne forvente. Ikke mindst kaffen var langt under det msn forventer i Italien.

The staff shines through By far and away the staff are Pensione Seguso’s greatest asset. Each staff member that I interacted with was helpful, friendly, and efficient. My room -with private bathroom- was very basic (no TV, fridge, or room safe) but pleasant nonetheless. The building’s location right on the water (and thus close to water taxi/ferry stations) and charming reception area do compensate for the room itself’s fairly no-frills nature.

Friendly, comfy spot This is a nice spot with friendly owners/ staff. We enjoyed it. It's outside of the main tourist area but convenient to the water bus which takes you everywhere. There are restaurants nearby too. My only little issue is that the beds were more like cots. Otherwise, if you like small, boutique, friendly hotels, this is a lovely place.

Beautiful view, great location, comfy room This is my 7th time to Venice and this room is my favourite. I love this hotel, all the furniture is like antique, old Venetian style, you can imagine their prosperous trade history here. Very spacious room, balcony with amazing view. A 3-mins walk to the vaporetto stop without passing through a bridge (luggage friendly). I am very lucky to have a room available in the last minute on Friday night booking. Although no ensuite bathroom in my room, I have a sink there to do the skin care procedures. There are at least 2 shared bathrooms on my floor which I have never bumped into someone using them. Many rooms have their own bathroom but the bedroom size will be smaller than this one. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast room is cozy and peaceful, enjoy it a lot. I will be back!

Bel hôtel à Venise Bien. Beaux espaces.

Old World Venetian Style and Hospitality. We love this place. It has a lot of Old World charm and is run by Lawrence, whose family has owned the building for centuries. All of the staff were "molto gentile" and made our stay very pleasurable. Big shout out to "Massimo and Yvonne." Location is great: in Dorsoduro right on the Zattere overlooking the Giudecca Canal and a little side canal, Rio di San Vio. Decent Restaurants, Bars, Tavernas, Osteria, and Gelateria nearby. One Restaurant right out the door on the Zattere. Convenient to Vaporetto stops within walking distance on the Zattere and at the Academia that will get you to most places in Venice. This Pensione is very popular with regulars who know to ask for a room in the front or corner. Our room was on the side canal but still had incredible views. Tried to upgrade once we got there but they were fully booked. This is truly old world Venetian style from the flooring, antique wardrobes, sitting areas, and lighting fixtures. It was clean but could use a really deep cleaning as there are lots of little nooks and crannies everywhere. If you are looking for an American style hotel with all the amenities this is not for you. If you are looking for a truly Venetian experience in a charming Pensione, with a friendly helpful staff, comfortable surroundings, and incredible views, this is the place for you. We had a fantastic time here. A great way to finish our trip to Italia. We will definitely return here for one of those front rooms with a balcony.

Pleasant traditional small family hotel Relatively quiet location. Very friendly staff. Room bit shabby and on small side but perfectly clean. Good views from higher floors. Typical buffet breakfast.

A real nice little hotel. What a nice place to stay in. A family run hotel. Very helpful, friendly people. Great staff. Good breakfast and a great location. I couldn't have asked for more. Thanks for a wonderful visit in Venice !
