What a wonderful place! Full of hospitality! The location is wonderful, definitely recommend!

Lovely little Venetian hotel with equally lovely staff. Breakfast was simple and the coffee was great. All affordable priced for Venice. The only issue was the level of noise coming from the old floors and stair case. We could only sleep once all other guests had stopped moving around.

The room is really clean and has a nice smell, the view was good on the street that I like it. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. The location is 5 minutes to San Zakaria place and really good to get around. Every day during 2 days we stayed they cleaned our room. It was a nice hotel with nice guys in the front desk. And I had a comfortable stay during my trip. When we arrived we couldn’t go to the room as their policy was from 2 pm but we arrived 30 minutes earlier. They accepted our baggage and before we back to the hotel they took it to the room. I have to say thank you, what a nice hotel.

Partendo dal proprietario Giuliano e dal suo collaboratore che sono gentilissimi, disponibili, presenti fin dal momento della prenotazione (grazie per averci sopportati) e che vi faranno anche da prima guida turistica, la struttura è meravigliosa, tipica veneziana camere bellissime e curate nei dettagli complete di ogni comfort. Sarete a due minuti VERI da piazza San Marco, sotto avrete la storica pasticceria Bonifacio dove potervi abbuffare di qualunque goloseria e una piazzetta bellissima. Noi abbiamo alloggiato in una tripla su due livelli, magica con i dettagli in legno e le travi a vista, rapporto qualità-prezzo senza paragoni rispetto alle altre strutture intorno. Torneremo presto a Venezia e non c è dubbio che torneremo qui. Grazie per questa esperienza. Chiara, Raffo e Gioelino

Cuando llegamos el chico de la entrada (super amable) nos ofreció después de 2 horas de vuelo, media de bus, media de vaporeto ir al baño de la primera planta (ya que aún no estaba lista la habitación) le dijimos que sí encantados y al subir una señora rubia de unos 50 años que estaba limpiando una habitación nos empezó a gritar de muy malas maneras y con gestos de que nos fuéramos que la habitación no estaba lista yo intenté explicarle que el chico de abajo nos dejó subir al baño de muy malas maneras también nos enseñó el baño y la escuchamos como bajo también de muy malas maneras a echarle la bronca al pobre chico de recepción. Lo único malo que tengo que decir de este hotel es sobre esa señora, debería aprender modales, calmarse un poco y hablar con respeto y educación a la gente y si es la dueña que recuerde que su negocio se sostiene gracias a los huéspedes (a los que trata así). Los dos chicos de recepción son encantadores malísimos te lo explican todo genial siempre super educados y super bien muchas gracias a ellos y a su trabajo.

Per trascorrere un weekend veloce a Venezia con mia figlia ho prenotato in questa struttura. La "locanda" è praticamente a due passi da Piazza S. Marco, vicinissima alla fermata S. Marzo - Zaccaria. La struttura è piccola e molto ben curata e davvero molto pulita sia negli spazi comuni che nella camera. La camera era esattamente come da descrizione sul sito di prenotazione, anche se piccola era confortevole, idem il bagno; dotata di TV, aria condizionata e frigobar (con 2 bottigliette d'acqua e null'altro). La colazione era esclusa dalla ns. prenotazione e ho chiesto la disponibilità per la colazione senza glutine e mi è stato detto esser disponibile; l'abbiamo pagata in hotel al costo di 14 euro che, onestamente, per 1 pacchetto di oro saiwa, un plumkake confezionato e 4 fette biscottate, mi pare anche un po' eccessivo. La sala della colazione è una stanza molto piccola con 5 tavolini da 2 persone abbastanza ammassati (io avevo l'anta della finestra che mi batteva sul collo) con una cucina che offre caffè, the, ecc e su un tavolino pane, burro, brioches e uova, sul tavolo le marmellate... nulla di salato. La scala per raggiungere i piani delle camere al 2 e terzo piano è veramente molto stretta e ripida e non credo sia adatta a tutti, il rischio di cadere è abbastanza alto; per scendere ci siamo dovuti attaccare al corrimano. Le finestre della camera davano su Campo Santi Filippo e Giacomo e la sera, con i bar e ristoranti ecc... c'è stato abbastanza rumore fino a tardi. Nel complesso una buona struttura con personale cordiale e disponibile (la reception non è presidiata h24 e la sera, se si esce dopo le 20, si devono portare con se le chiavi) che va bene per una notte veloce; il prezzo è leggermente alto, ma siamo a Venezia in giugno e si può sopportare. Non sono stato male, ma non credo che ci tornerei anche se non ci sono stati problemi; raggiunge la sufficienza o poco più giusto per cortesia e pulizia.

Hôtel idéalement situé à deux pas de la place Saint Marc. Raucous d’endroit où se restaurer tout autour de l’hôtel. Le personnel est charmant et très efficace. Très bonne literie et chambre très propre et au calme. Merci à toute l’équipe pour l’accueil.

Hôtel très bien situé , à côté de la place st Marc. Le personnel est très accueillant, aimable. Il parle pour la plupart le français. Nous avons reçu pour le départ, des gâteaux ! Quelle gentille attention! La chambre est très bien, très propre. Le ménage est fait quotidiennement. Nous n'avons pas été dérangés le soir par le bruit de dehors! Nous recommandons et reviendrons avec grand plaisir !!

My husband and I recently booked a room with a terrace at the Locanda al Leon in Venice for a 3 day stay. On arrival we were greeted warmly and were led across the narrow street to the Ca' Marcella annex. To our surprise, we were led to an airy suite of rooms on the third floor with two terraces, a kitchen, dining table and sitting area with wall-to-wall French doors. We were absolutely delighted with the accommodations. We had a view over the rooftops of Venice and could see the top of the Campanile and parts of St. Mark's as well. With terraces on both sides, we enjoyed both the morning light and the sunset. The rooms were spotless and beautiful. The modern bathroom had good water pressure in the shower and fluffy towels. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. The hotel breakfast cappuchino was especially good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The central location was very close to St Mark's Square and the Palazzo Ducale, and just off a small lively square with shops and restaurants. There was also a bakery steps away with delicious pastries and coffee. The San Zaccharia vaporetto stop is very close, which made it easy to transfer from the airport via Alilaguna, and to use the vaporetto. We enjoyed our stay and will be delighted to return someday. Highly recommended!

Hotel is absolutely filthy. Mold in the bathroom, substances on the wall, stains on the carpet. Incredibly loud at night. Limits towel usage for guests. Probably the dirtiest hotel I have stayed at in twenty years. Would not recommend for families, elderly or anyone that is immunocompromised.

We had a great stay at Locanda al Leon! When we arrived, the front desk person was so friendly. There aren't many elevators in Venice, so there wasn't one at this hotel, but the staff carried the luggage to the room for us. The room was so cute and charming! It really had the Venetian atmosphere. It was right in the middle of many of the attractions in Venice and close to many, many restaurants. The street really quieted down after 9 PM, so we had no issue with any noises while sleeping. This was a great place for us to stay for a few nights, and we would definitely stay here again in the future!

Locanda raffinata,la stanza era giusta nelle dimensioni ,bagno grande,ed a due passi da piazza san Marco .Letto e cuscini comodi ,lo consiglio per posizione, tranquillità e vicinanza al palazzo ducale,piazza san Marco e la fermata dei vaporetti.
