One of the best travel experiences ever! Such a delight to stay here. Loved our room, the incredible pool, seeing all of the exquisite artwork that our hosts have collected, and the delicious breakfast served on beautiful china! We were sad to leave. Merci merci merci Geoffrey for making us feel so welcome, and thank you to all of the other staff who were so kind and gracious. We loved our stay!

The location is fine and the house looks the part from the outside to match the high price. The rooms and bathrooms and fine and breakfast is good but that is as far as it goes and that isn't far enough for the price. Sometimes the door to the sitting room downstairs was open and sometimes it wasn't with a prive sign. Guests are expected to sit in the entrance lobby which is an extension of the house. The stairs are school-like and the corridor upstairs is very dark. We didn't hate our stay but we wouldn't return or recommend.
