"I chose this hotel to spend 1 May and Easter Holiday for this year. Location: The location of the hotel is good, is not far from the small city center, there is an ATM next to the hotel. Parking: In front of the hotel there is a parking space for maximum 10-15 cars. We paid around 10 leva/day. Is good to park near the hotel, we saw some cameras next by because the parking is not guarded. If you do not find space near the hotel, they will redirect you to another parking with whom the hotel has agreement. Room: We got room 207, on the same floor with the restaurant. First I was upset, thinking that the smell will come into the room but no, it was ok. The room was amazing, front sea view, 2 balconies. It is amazing to sleep in the night and to hear the sound of the waves. The room is big enough, equipped with everything, even bathrobe. Cleaning: On this chapter, the hotel is not so well. I was disappointed about the cleaning, when we entered the room it was not very well cleaned, there were stains on the wall, on the carpet. During our stay we did not let the housekeeping too often to come into our room. Beach: The beach is large, is amazing, clean but with small stones. In some parts of the sea the entrance is deep, in other is ok. The staff should step in when they see the clients bring on the beach portable speaker and put lowed bad quality music! It was disturbing for us and we needed to take our things and move to another part just not to hear that music! The restaurant, bars & food The restaurant in the first days, when the hotel was not crowd the food was at a very high quality. Not so many choices but tasty. After 3-4 May, when the hotel stared to be full, the option for the food became larger but lower quality. The beach bar offers just French fries and some meatballs. The ice cream was very good. The only bar that serves alcoholic drinks is the lobby bar, even if they sell as Ultra All Inclusive, most of the drinks are local ones. Only some gin is international brand, beside this, Bulgarian drinks. The bartender is not making cocktails, he gives you the alcohol in a glass and you need to go and add juice and make yourself a cocktail. This is the first time when I experience this. For the Easter Celebration I expected more, on the Easter night in the reception there were eggs and sweet bread but for the lunch or dinner nothing special. Swimming pool & Spa In the rainy days the indoor pool was so crowded, they said is with mineral water but I doubt that, I smelled a lot of chlorine. We enjoyed the sauna. Overall, I can recommend this hotel because of its position, right on the beach. The view from the room and the balcony was amazing."

The breakfast and dinner are excellent, with a wide variety of delicious, fresh, and high-quality food. The infinity pool offers a breathtaking view of the sea, making it the perfect place to relax. Everything about this hotel is simply superb. We come back every year, and it never disappoints. We highly recommend it!"

"Valitettavasti vierailumme tässä hotellissa oli erittäin pettymys. Henkilökunta oli erittäin epäystävällistä eikä osoittanut juurikaan kiinnostusta auttaa vieraita. Jokaiseen kysymykseen tai pyyntöön vastattiin ärtyneenä, ja jotkut ongelmat yksinkertaisesti jätettiin huomiotta. Huone oli likainen ja pölyinen, kylpyhuone huonosti siivottu, ja tuntui siltä, ettei sitä ollut siivottu kunnolla pitkään aikaan. Tämä on täysin mahdotonta hyväksyä tämän tason hotellissa. Myös ruoka oli erittäin pettymys. Valikoima oli hyvin rajallinen, monet annokset tarjoiltiin kylminä, ja raaka-aineiden laatu jätti paljon toivomisen varaa. Ruokalista tuskin muuttui päivästä toiseen, joten parin päivän kuluttua emme enää edes halunneet syödä siellä. Kaiken kaikkiaan vaikutelmamme hotellista oli erittäin negatiivinen. Maksamaamme hintaan nähden odotimme paljon korkeampaa palvelutasoa. Emme palaisi tähän hotelliin emmekä voi suositella sitä kenellekään."

If you have teenagers not a good place, bar staff will serve alcohol to minors even though you have asked them not to. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a beautiful sea view. The food was fresh, delicious, and offered plenty of variety every day. The entire hotel was clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay. The biggest highlight was the staff. Everyone was welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel truly valued as guests. We highly recommend Palm Beach Hotel to couples and families looking for a relaxing holiday by the sea. Thank you to the whole team for the wonderful hospitality—we’ll definitely be back!"

"We booked this hotel because it was one of the top-rated in Golden Sands, and we read that the food here was supposed to be really good. We just arrived 60 minutes ago, or rather, we were allowed to check in and use the facilities an hour ago. We arrived at 12:00, with five excited children. One of them was a bit sick. We expected that we could simply store our luggage and use the facilities (pool, snack bar, etc.). That was absolutely not an option. We had to wait in the lobby, and if we were hungry or thirsty, we could buy lunch in the restaurant or drinks at the bar… We were NOT allowed to go down to the pool and wait for our room to be ready. In general, the tone is quite unpleasant and inhospitable. No service. No smiles. Just a feeling of being a burden. Too bad—especially for our kids who could hardly wait to swim. We took a walk around the area and got something to eat. When we returned, our child's condition had worsened, and we were seriously considering seeking medical attention—but fortunately, he got better. Even then, it was not possible to get our room or something to drink for him. We finally got to our rooms, which are very nice. No complaints there. But the overall impression of the hotel is VERY worn and very old. At most, 2 stars. We went to get pool towels, only to find out that they were closed and wouldn’t open for another 45 minutes. So we went to the snack bar. The pizzas were fine, but the fries tasted like they were from the day before. There was a small room with cakes, which I do not recommend entering. The cakes were INEDIBLE and extremely salty. When we went to order drinks, perhaps the biggest “game changer” of all came. It is NOT possible to order light/diet drinks with our All-Inclusive package. We were told we could pay for them at the main bar… We did NOT see that coming. We have traveled A LOT and stayed at many All-Inclusive hotels in many countries—this we have never experienced. Are we not in 2024? And what about people with diabetes? We got some water and a drink. The drink was undrinkable, and the water tasted like chlorine and salt… When we finally got to the pool, the kids were happy. However, the lifeguard was sitting quite unmotivated, blowing his whistle, and looking at his phone… All in all, a very disappointing start. We have never complained before or written a bad review, even when we have been dissatisfied. But unfortunately, this just surpasses everything we have experienced—and all in just a few hours… What a disappointment!"

"We stayed here at the end of September for 5 nights. The hotel was quiet due to it being the end of their season which meant a lot of the local shops, bars and restaurants has closed (no fault of the hotel, we didn’t do our research and assumed the season would continue into October - something to be mindful of if you’re booking in 2024). The food and spa were the highlights of our holiday. The spa staff were super friendly and helpful and we made sure to make use of the facilities and treatments on offer. Would recommend the Turkish bath, it was incredible! The price of the treatments were so cheap compared to the U.K. you can pay cash or card which is handy too. The food was so flavoursome and we had something different each night. If you’re a fussy eater or expecting 20+ difference choices this isn’t the place for you. There was enough choices but each dish was delicious and the cakes were little mouthfuls of heaven. Overall the hotel was very modern and clean and is in a great location to walk to the beach. Even with it being quiet we felt extremely safe strolling around. Down by the beachfront there are some lovely shops and bars, it’s a lovely easy stroll. We took the 409 bus into Varna (approx 45 mins journey) and hired electric scooters to explore. We’d recommend wandering the garden, it’s beautiful and lots for kids to do. The staff were generally very helpful, a big shout out to Vanka (I hope that’s how you spell it) on reception who was extremely helpful in trying to sort an issue with our transfer back to the airport. Only negative experienced were the cleaners were slightly rude and staff weren’t always at the bar around the pool, we imagine this was down to it being out of season. We would definitely return to the hotel and make the most of the spa and facilities again next year. "

"My wife and I stayed at this hotel. We're both over 55 and wanted a relaxing holiday with good food and service. We basically got what we expected. We stayed on the 10th floor with a sea view. The room was cozy, spacious, and conducive to relaxation. The room had standard amenities, and everything worked. The elevators (there are two) sometimes break down, but they always try to fix them quickly. During our stay, one elevator broke down twice in one day. This was mainly due to children riding them without parental supervision and simply playing around for fun. The junior staff consists mainly of Filipinos who speak English but don't understand Russian at all. This isn't their problem; if you want communication skills, learn languages. They are managed by Bulgarian staff (Russian is generally understood well here), and I must say they've done a good job. The staff is polite, friendly, and does their job well. I'd like to give a special thank you to Emily, the maid; the room was cleaned every day. Jane, the bartender, was also responsive and could lift your spirits, which can't be said for Tony. I've seen glowing reviews about him, but apparently that wasn't the case here. He used to work at the Elpida Hotel, and I never noticed any negative behavior from him there. Here, however, he was downright rude. A little about the food. The dishes are basically the same as in other Golden Sands hotels of the same standard. You definitely won't go hungry; there's plenty of variety, but often the flavor is lacking. It's a pure assembly line of food preparation. The same goes for the alcohol. The hotel generally didn't disappoint. For those looking for a relaxing holiday, the all-inclusive option is perfect."

"Friendly reception. Easy check-in. Parking is available on the street and costs about €12 per day. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We were there outside of the holiday season (April 22nd), so many restaurants and shops were still closed. The beach is about a 5-7 minute walk away."

"I have been to quite few all inclusive resorts in Caribbean, Europe and Asia. My friend recommended going to Bulgaria to Golden Sands to the Grifid Vistamar. What a great surprise that was. Beautiful, modern beachfront hotel with excellent food and always smiling and welcoming staff. In addition to the hotel pool and rooftop pool , there is a beach club with sunbeds, umbrellas and bar with drinks for hotel guests. I highly recommend this hotel or any other of Grifid chain for your worry free vacation."
