"The hotel is new and clean. There is no point in posting photos, because all the photos on tripcom are true. All the furniture is new and in excellent condition. Air conditioners, fans - everything works. There is also hot water, you need to wait a little until it drains. There is a refrigerator (new, odorless), an electric kettle, a TV (we did not turn it on, we do not know if it works or not). Soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, shampoo are provided upon check-in. All this in small format. The service in the hotel is no worse than in Europe. They helped with any issue that arose. We have not seen such an attitude towards tourists for a long time. We have been traveling around Asia for 8 years, we have something to compare with. This hotel is the best of those we have been to. It is far from the beaches. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the nearest beach. But if you take a moped, there should be no problems. The hotel has a parking lot. And 24-hour security. We arrived at the hotel very early, check-in was done without extra charge for early check-in. Breakfast: vegetarian buffet. Our rating for the hotel and its staff is 10 out of 10!"

"Had a good time there at deshadan on May 2025. The rooms were compact but lacked refrigerators and lockers. The restroom was neat and of adequate size. Complimentary breakfast was nice and decent but no space at peak hour. The staffs were friendly and polite."

Kiinteistön sijainti on erinomainen rannalla. Pohjoiskallio on vain 10 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä."

"Had a beautiful stay here for three nights in Varkala. I wish we could have stayed longer. Rooms tidy and clean with a wood furniture vibe and a small porch / verandah outside. Air con and fan, kettle and a small fridge. The rest of the space is just beautiful. Outside the rooms is full of plants and light. Upstairs there is a beautiful French / South Indian fusion cafe, and a large, light space for yoga, dance etc and a small gym area (kettle bells, bench, dumb bells, bands, boxes, various other bits and pieces). There is also a small treatment room for massage and Ayurveda treatments. I did a yoga class with Rajan which was absolutely wonderful - only three of us in the class, for 1.5 hours+ and he was very attentive. I’ve never felt so relaxed in my life. Then I had 30 mins reflexology with Dr. Ajitha which was also wonderful. Breakfast was included in the room - I had the Indian breakfast which was two nicely cooked dosa, 2 eggs (cooked how you like), a spiced sauce and coffee - all was delicious. My partner had the regular breakfast which was toast (a bit brioche like), with butter and jam, two eggs and a fresh juice. We also ordered extra coffee and juices which were delicious - the fresh coconut milkshake was amazing. Beach is a 5 min walk. We also had an eagle visible from our room. All Varkala shops, restaurant, yoga places etc easy walking distance. We swam in the sea every day. Wonderful place to stay. Service great too."
