We really loved our stay here – we stayed for just under four weeks. The two Kashmiri brothers that have run the hotel for the last year were friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The rest of the staff was equally friendly and helpful. We had a good room with an excellent balcony overlooking the pool and, some 80 yards away through a few palm trees we could see the sea. There are lots of good places to eat and shop very close by. The beaches in Varkala are world class, albeit some of the waves get a little big, or more fun depending on how you look at it. We managed to walk around 5 miles ***** the beach – and we didn’t get even half way to the end. There is a popular part of the beach and a lot of very empty parts. It was a highly recommended and very laid back experience
