Vibes Beach House

My stay at this homestay was disappointing and fell short of the expectations set by its advertisement. Despite being advertised as a private stay, the presence of the owner and a caretaker in the central room severely compromised our privacy. The owner frequently entered our room without prior notice, which was unacceptable given that we had paid for the accommodation. Moreover, the caretaker and owner frequently hosted friends and engaged in drinking, which made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The door locking mechanism was inadequate, easily bypassed with minimal force, raising concerns about security. The overall maintenance of the rooms was poor, with a persistent unpleasant odor throughout the property. Although the outer appearance of the property was visually appealing, the rooms and kitchen were not well-maintained. There was no guarantee that bedsheets were changed between guests, and we encountered insects that posed potential stings. In summary, the homestay did not live up to its advertised standards and did not provide the level of privacy, comfort, and safety one would expect.
