The place was just awesome... Too good the services provide,friendly staff and the owner Margaret too good, meals n accommodation is phenomenal N lastly the views ....uuwiii breathtaking I recommend if u r going to Savusavu.... stay at La dolce Vita.... it's is worth it

My holiday highlights at La Dolce Vita were: * a relaxing, peaceful get-away from the hustle and bustle of the world *an eco-friendly holiday venue that uses solar power with a fresh water spring from their own volcanic aquifer that is filtered then gravity fed down to the villas * a tidal lagoon with water sports platform, kayaks and paddle boards ocean and garden vistas that are breezy, colourful and vibrant * spacious and comfortable hexagonal 2-bedroom, single or over the lagoon villas * delicious breakfasts that align with trying something local or with your dietary needs and the spreads are home-made * daily cocktails at happy hour accompanied by interesting conversations with phenomenal people * mouthwatering, home cooked meals of various fusions and cuisines that tease your taste buds from celebrity chef Michelle and even a teppanyaki table for those sultry summer nights * friendly and helpful staff from airport pickup to housekeeping and groundsmen - Margaret even helps to book snorkelling or fishing expeditions with nearby providers * the experience of flying in a small twin prop aircraft (19-seater) over lush green mountains and clear tranquil ocean from either Suva or Nadi to Savusavu Thank you Luigi and Margaret for the memorable stay!

I was urged by a friend to go to this retreat - called the Wellness Weekend at the La Dolce Vita Villas in Naqere, past Savusavu in Vanua Levu. I missed out on the first one due to work. I also really have been wanting to get back into yoga, having fallen off the wagon during the pandemic. The organizer, Raewyn, was really good at keeping in touch and guiding me through logistics. Later I learned that she is a massage therapist - and a very skilled one too. I received one massage from her and one from another practitioner - both were very good although very different. Liti, the yoga teacher, has an approach that is very gentle and nurturing - I benefited a lot from the yoga sessions and am now getting myself back into yoga, as intended. I also very much enjoyed the food prepared by Chef Michelle, who worked hard to give me excellent vegan and gluten-free fare on this vegetarian retreat (although meat and fish were served in the final lunch). The venue is stunning, with two cute and friendly pups (Jack and Jill) and a mischievous cat (Pash) who roam the property. The lagoon and salt water pool are wonderful refuges. I loved my villa, which was spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom. The only thing I would change would be to have the villas be screened, so that mosquitos would not disturb me as much as they did. We missed out on the waterfall trek due to weather, and did not do a tour or tasting of Koko Mana chocolate, due to weather and timing, but I appreciated being able to buy some of the locally made treats, which are very tasty. A lovely retreat in a beautiful location with wonderful people that I enjoyed bonding with. Thank you Raewyn, Liti and team!  

We stayed at the Dolce Vita for five nights. It was an absolute treat from start to finish. It wasn’t just our hosts, Margaret and Luigi, who made it so special it was the whole team. The food was superb, our villa with sea views was magnificent, and we absolutely loved the lagoon, swimming pool and the gardens.

We came from New Zealand and stayed for 4 nights. This is a small and beautiful resort where you will be very well cared for by owners Margaret and Luigi along with the entire friendly staff at La Dolce Vita. We had fun playing on the picturesque golf course Luigi has created Swimming in the pool and lagoon, relaxing in the many areas provided The food created by Michelle was a treat, delicious meals with a different theme every night, served with fresh produce. Our villa looking out over the reef was comfortable and beautifully clean. It provided us with everything we needed. Prices are so reasonable with breakfast and dinner included. We Recommend contacting Margaret directly to check availability and to book your stay.

Without doubt one of our favorite places we stayed during our time in Fiji! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the hosts. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible and the restaurant cook Michele deserves a special thanks. It's a true sample of excellent hospitality.
