The experience at JW Marriott was great and we were impressed with both the service and the facilities. Our housekeeper Shamil's meticulous care made our trip happier. Will choose here again next time!

馬爾代夫酒店的環境都很優美，服務也很好！但有些細節不吐不快：1. 印度人非常喜歡去這個島，所以島上食物的整體風味可以想象！2. 島周邊風浪很大，水下很荒涼也沒什麼珊瑚和魚，不適合浮潛。3. 收費很貴，一瓶迷你可樂就要8美元，每噸飯基本都在500美元左右！4. 水上中心服務很差，自帶的備用浮潛氣瓶不給充氣，而馬代其他島之前有充過的！

這是光酒店的費用 水飛或者陸飛需要另外花錢 需要注意一下 另外一個槽點注意 在一日包兩餐 但是固定是早餐和午餐 這個沒説清楚 應該直接説早餐午餐 別説包兩餐 包餐的也還要注意 包餐可以點餐到房間吃 衹要一個29刀的類似送餐費 但是搞笑的是 小孩子的餐點到房間就需要付費了… 整個度假村沒有很大 純休閑可以的

Great stay.. the staff of this resort is exceptional and they make you feel at home immediately.. they take care of you and your needs with warmth and smile. Malla, our villa butler, was amazing in his service and assistance! The resort need a bit of freshening up especially on the wooden deck side and overall food and beverages / activities prices are a bit on the high side (but you are in the Maldives and that should be expected anyhow). Overall it was a very relaxing and joyful holiday thanks to the warmth of the staff.. indeed a 5 star rating!

One cannot go wrong choosing this resort for a luxury holiday, situated on a beautiful, green tropical island with unforgettable turquoise waters. However, the most outstanding aspect, and the reason for us considering returning, is the world class staff. All make an immediate connection, learn your name, and make you feel so welcome, attended to, and appreciated until the very last minute of your stay! Our butler, Malla, was outstanding. Initially, we booked a water villa, but it did not meet our expectations regarding proximity to the beach and access to the ocean. We requested Malla to relocate us to a beachfront villa, and he immediately worked on this request. Within a couple of hours, we were in the beachfront villa, and he upgraded our package to ensure we had the best experience. He was patient in explaining the options and quickly understood our needs. Malla and his professional team provide a unique, personalized, and exceptionally attentive luxury experience. The breakfast team’s pastry chef, Dinesh, was exceptional, offering fresh croissants, fresh fruit, and yogurt parfait. The entire staff was always very attentive, warm, and made us feel welcomed. The Thai restaurant and cocktail bar, set in a treehouse, offered superb cuisine and great service from Reni, Anaahu, and Rohila. Chef Rohini and Chef Dinesh prepared a special lunch menu for our last day, Biryani, paneer, and amazing mango ice cream to name a few. The steakhouse offered world-class steaks, and seafood, chef Sameera we ate dinner at the steakhouse 5 out of 6 nights during our stay. Cocktails were a daily delight, prepared by amazing mixologists Ashraful, Satyam, and Kanishka, often enjoyed at the restaurants and in the main bar while witnessing yet another epic sunset. Morning yoga classes and HIIT sessions were a must, followed by relaxing spa treatments with top-notch massages. The villas were spacious and luxurious, each with its own pool and a piece of almost private beach. Importantly Bonvoy members, the benefits and amenities were very well respected! This is the only resort I’ve stayed at in this country, so I can’t compare it locally. However, I can compare it to other resorts across the world, including Grand Cayman Ritz, which I wouldn’t consider returning to as we didn’t feel as comfortable, and only some of the staff were as attentive and nice. We have stayed in other countries and other resorts comparable to JW, and I can say this resort stands on its own. I wanted to take the time to highlight a few people who made our trip very special and memorable: • Chef Dinesh: Chef Dinesh took his time to give us a tour of the garden, not only he went out of his way, but he also described all the different vegetables, fruits, and herbs grown and how they were used in the different restaurants. • Chef Sameera, Anaahu, Sovia, and Satyam: They surprised us with an unforgettable dinner, preparing a special dish native to Chef’s country. We had a superb stay on our vacation. Najaah especially took care of us and was available to us for anything that was required. Other members of the team are also great as the chefs personally came and prepared local dish for us to taste in breakfast. Whole team (especially Najaah) paid very personalized attention….. highly recommended

Our stay at JW Marriott Maldives was absolutely incredible! A huge thank you to Malla, our wonderful butler, for arranging everything so smoothly over WhatsApp—his attention to detail made our trip effortless. A special mention to Satyam, the best bartender, who not only crafted amazing drinks but also took great care of us at the bar and restaurants. Kanishka made our poolside experience even better with his warm hospitality and attentiveness. And Cindy at Aaila, whose exceptional service and kindness made every dining experience unforgettable. The staff here truly go above and beyond, never saying no to anything and always making sure every moment is perfect. We can’t wait to come back!

We had the pleasure of spending our Honeymoon on this island and although the vacation was extremely expensive it was one of the best experiences our life and worth it for our special occasion. We ended up spending 15.000 USD for 5 nights which is an average of 3k per night. We opted for all included in food but still it was a price extremely high for our expectation. The staff has made the experience special, from our personal assistant Naawish to the chef who made specially handmade gluten free food for me, his name is Rohit. He made me experience for the first time in my life Prata and other Indian food thanks to his skill in making everything gluten free for me. There are 5 or 6 restaurants in the island so there are plenty of option for you to eat every day in a different place. They also surprised us during the stay with small surprises for our honeymoon like giving us special seating on the dock during our last night and few other small gestures that were highly appreciated. The island is gorgeous and I think it's quite private so you have so many time in which you have the beach all for yourself. We stayed in both Overwater Villa and Beach Villa and I recommend doing the same so you can experience both during the stay. There are few reason that made me give though 4 stars and not 5 and here are some of the consideration if you plan to stay here: - Missing points as Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Member: For some reason the points received after the stay as Platinum member are less than what I was expecting. I reached out to them and they called me and sent me various emails acknowledging that I have not received what I and they were expecting. Up to this day (3 weeks from my stay) I still haven't received the missing points. Unfortunately they after stay support hasn't not been great and this has affected the overall experience. (Hopefully somebody from their staff will read this and follow up from my emails) - this brings to the second point. All activities, photo shooting, Taxes, GST, seaplane are not eligible for Points. For us was 33% of our overall spending (only 9.8k out of 15k spent were eligible for points). That's a lot of points and honestly I wasn't expecting to miss so many points from the stay. - This island is extremely expensive. We have traveled a lot around the world and this has been the most expensive place we have been. be ready to spend way more than you plan. Between villa, food and other activities we had planned 2k USD a day but we ended up spending 3k a day. Anything you do is expensive, even something simple like Shisha that anywhere else would cost you 30$ here will cost you more than 100$ . We had some photos taken by the photographer and it cost 450 USD to have a digital copy of them. I was honestly expecting to have it included in the package since we spent over 15.000 $

Abbiamo soggiornato al JW Marriott Resort and Spa Maldives e l’esperienza è stata semplicemente perfetta. Il resort è un vero paradiso dove rilassarsi e staccare completamente dalla routine. Il cibo è eccellente, con diverse opzioni per la cena che accontentano tutti i gusti, e i cocktail sono davvero top, preparati con grande cura. Le camere vengono pulite più volte al giorno, sempre impeccabili e profumate. Un grande punto di forza è il personale: cordiale, attento e sempre disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza. Se viaggiate con bambini, sull’isola c’è un baby club ben organizzato, dove i piccoli possono divertirsi con tante attività. Inoltre, ci sono due piscine con bar perfette per rilassarsi durante il giorno. La Spa è meravigliosa, ideale per chi cerca momenti di puro benessere. Lo consigliamo assolutamente a chi desidera una vacanza tranquilla, di qualità, anche in famiglia. Torneremmo sicuramente!

We were pleasantly impressed by this hotel with a dream view from villa terrace and also from restaurants.Congratulations to our Naawish Butler witch take care with profesionalism of us and make our stay amazing . I also mention Lahiru, very well prepared professionally and his recommendations for both , wines and cocktails were always the best. I can t finish before named the Chefs : Mama from Thai restaurant , Sameera and Dinesh Pai. But once again congratulation to ALL TEAM from this hotel. I travel a lot and with my experiens I can recomand this Resort witout any hesitation .

JW Marriott Maldives is a luxury resort experience like few in the world. Our 3rd time there was incredible literally from the first step out of the seaplane … GM Mohit Dembla and his pro team provide a unique, personalized, super attentive luxury 360 pampering 24/7. Hassan our butler was outstanding, the breakfast team pastry chefs over the the top, the Thai resto and cocktail bar in the tree Robinson-style had superb Asian kitchen, the Japanese great rock shrimp, the Steak resto world-class ribeye, and the main resto authentic and perfect Indian butter chicken and tandoori shrimp. Tropical cocktails every day were a must, sometimes also in the action/youth room over pool/billiard or karaoke or other games - after having enjoyed yet another epic sunset. So runs in the morning and doing gym obviously was a must - and enjoying the spa thereafter with tip top massages was just great. The water sports team was very friendly and took great care of us with diving, snorkeling, kite-ing, fishing and banana/sofa rides for kids. Villas were very nice and spacey with own pool and piece of almost private beach. Finally - and importantly for us Bonvoy masters - benefits and amenities were veeeeery well respected and celebrated! One cannot go wrong coming to this resort for a luxury Maldives holiday - obviously villas being on and around a beautiful and green tropical island, with a superb beach with turquoise unforgettable water and coral reefs around - yet really the most outstanding (and therefore the 3rd return) were all the incredible people working there - many knowing you by name and making you feel so welcome and so attended and so taken care off and appreciated till the last minute you leave!

該島的設施十分陳舊，維護不善，特別是在沙屋住宿期間，飛螞蟻數量驚人，幾乎鋪天蓋地。晚上睡覺時，這些飛螞蟻鑽進被子裏，到處都是，早上起來地板上滿是白蟻的翅膀。管理層（主要是印度籍）對這一問題敷衍了事，毫無改善措施。每天下午全島都會大面積噴灑殺蟲劑，煙霧瀰漫，既影響空氣質量，也對健康構成威脅。前三個晚上幾乎無法入睡，整個度假體驗完全被惡劣的環境毀掉，極度失望！ The island’s facilities are extremely outdated and poorly maintained. During our stay in the beach villa, we were overwhelmed by swarms of flying ants. At night, these insects crawled into the bedding, making it impossible to sleep, and every morning, the floor was covered with termite wings. The management, primarily run by Indians, was dismissive and made no effort to improve the situation. Every afternoon, the entire island was engulfed in thick pesticide smoke, which not only polluted the air but also posed serious health risks. We couldn’t sleep for the first three nights, and our entire vacation was completely ruined by these terrible conditions. Extremely disappointing!
