Mountain Lodge, les Crosets

Went for a great lunch, sat on the terrace, and enjoyed the sunshine! This restaurant is open to people who aren't hotel guests. Great and friendly service in English and French..maybe other languages. Right next to the beginner's slopes, easy access to the Les Crosets main lift as well.

Tee zubereiten, das Bett aufschütteln, ihr die ewigkeit unserer Liebe versichern - und dann sich für kurze Zeit verabschieden: Das Fondü ausgelassen zu haben, würde morgen zu Ehekrach führen. Aber obacht! Durch die Zutaten ist diese Mahlzeit auch eine kalorienreiche Belohnung für die Tages-Wanderleistung. Und woran erkennt man, dass der Gastgeber ein Kenner ist? Er fragt nicht, ob man Wasser will, er bringt es.

Très bel hôtel typique de nos Vallées Alpines mais les lits sont courts (je fais 1m85 et je dépasse) le SPA est joli mais petit! Le personnel est très gentil mais pas d'ici et pas du métier... on l'a remarqué au repas du soir :-( Menu fondue mais on nous pose tout en même temps sur la table (planchette, salade et fondue), Nous sommes non fumeur donc nous n'avons pas de feu sur nous pour allumer le réchaud qui reste éteint 5 minutes alors que la fondue est dessus... on demande 5dl de vin ouvert, ils ne comprennent pas et nous amènent que 2 verres de 1dl chacun, on demande 1l d'eau (inscrit sur la carte) mais on nous amène 5dl sans rien dire et au moment de payer, on nous facture 2x5dl au lieu de 1x1l... pas très honnête tout ça

Bel hôtel en bord de piste. Complexe hôtelier récent en contre bas de la station. De belles prestations, salon avec cheminée - bar sympa - salle de restaurant montagne. Bel espace spa, pas immense mais avec jacuzzi - sauna et hammam de bonne qualité. Salle de sport. Salle de cinéma et espace billard. Les chambres sont très belles avec terrasse donnant sur les pistes et en été le torrent. Belles salles d’eau. Deux remarques en revanche : le lit est court et la quasi totalité des chambres sont communiquantes et donc possiblement bruyantes. Petit déjeuner ok.

A beautifully clean and comfortable hotel with excellent staff and a lovely, welcoming atmosphere which is both vibrant but also very relaxing. Our party of four would like to give a special mention to Will and Gus who worked the bar, they were always happy, helpful and worked exceptionally hard to ensure our drinks were topped up!! The food is always outstanding with a good selection, and the service in the restaurant from Emilie and Charlene was excellent. We have stayed here several times now and it is great to see that the high standards are consistently maintained by Adam and his team.

I just wanted to leave a glowing review for Mountain Lodge. The trip began with a smooth and effortless transfer, we were provided with water and a snack which was perfect for the journey. The restaurant and bar staff were attentive, friendly and amazing at what they do, true professionals! The bar staff were on hand to pair wines with the food and made the most wonderful cocktails! The restaurant staff couldn’t have done more for us, providing a top class experience for every meal. The live music and quiz nights were fantastic ways to end our days with the opportunity to enjoy our time in the communal spaces of the hotel, providing a really intimate experience to the stay. The standard of the food and quality of the ingredients was incredible, the overall breakfast and dinner provided was beyond excellent. The daily specials were varied and the entire menu offered great taste and choice away from your usual mountain food. The presentation and taste was the perfect way to start my day and finish it off. The ski/boot room was really accessible and well laid out, with benches to get your boots on and shelves to store your kit. The heated boot warmers were a welcome sight at the end of each day. A private entrance to the slopes made it easy to start the day as we never had to compete with car parks full of people. Although I had my own skis, the shop looked really well prepared for hire, with some great options for skiers and boarders. I will further compliment the servicing options available, the team waxed and edged my skis and did a fantastic job and I’ll confidently return in the future. The spa is one of the best features of the hotel, after a day of being on the mountain it was really welcome. A quiet private space to unwind and relax in the sauna, hammam or pool all looking out to the most stunning mountain range. I’d book to return to Mountain Lodge based off the spa alone! The room was immaculate every day. The housekeeping team did an incredible job for our arrival and every day between, the quality of the bed and bedding was also fantastic and enabled some of the best sleep I’ve ever had after skiing! After a long day on the slopes or in the spa, having Rituals products in every bathroom added a touch of luxury to having a shower. Finally, I’d like to compliment the front of house team and the manager Adam. He runs a fantastic team and a fantastic hotel. The operation is seamless, from the delivery of afternoon tea, to the organisation of transfers- I really could relax and enjoy my time at Mountain Lodge. What you get at this hotel is one of the best hotel experiences in the Alps. The intimacy of the hotel, quality of what is served and the quality of rooms makes it difficult to leave in the morning to get onto the mountain, but incredibly inviting when you return at the end of the day.
