Best Western Alkapuri, Vadodara

The room was booked in my wife's name. While the room was allotted promptly, there were a few non-acceptable issues with the room itself. Bathroom was smelly & dirty (unclean). Maybe the turnaround from check-out to check-in may have created this situation, BUT, not expected from a property like Best Western. Of the two nights that we stayed there, the second night was just awful and "Hot".. why ? Their Airconditioning refused to cool the room (with the outside temp being 40 degrees C in Vadodara. After almost 3 hours of discussions (almost till 1 am at night) and the hotel's ridiculous explanations, we had to just spend the hight in the heat.

The air conditioning was not working. And they expected to relocate a single lady to another floor at 1 AM !!!!! ( in the middle of night ! ) The bathroom had terrible stink. Horrible experience.

Room was very small. Washroom wa extremely small. Water get traped in bathroom as there was a inclination in drain net. Food was average.

Very convenient location and no parking problem. Service and food was good. Very prompt check in and check out.

Stay was comfortable. Rooms were near and clean. Washrooms were hygienic and properly sanitized. Staff was also of helpful nature.
