Location was perfect for the business I needed to transact in the greater Umhlanga area. Staff we ever supportive of needs, breakfast buffet was amazing even though for very few people and food was good quality, room/suite was very very comfortable and spacious, plus they had a sauna which was a nice touch after the gym. I would stay again.

Great service, staff is welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. It’s a walking distance from Gateway mall and tons of restaurants

This hotel was very convenient to shopping mall and strip mall. The bartenders was very professional and if they didn’t have what I like they went and got it. Will stay again while I am here visiting Durban.

The experience was excellent as always, it is about my 7th stay. The room is lovely, decoration is very nice. The shower is nice and roomy, with ample water pressure.

Been using this lovely establishment for almost two decades, this was the best stay yet! Super affordable with such amazing service, a few kms from the beach as well.

If you looking for a comfortable stay in a good location, I would highly recommend that you stay at the Royal Palm. The rooms are clean and spacious providing a kitchette for convenience, a mini fridge, tea and coffee with microwave a comfortable lounge area and a balcony. The breakfast however does not cater for Hallaal guests hoping they look into Hallaal friendly options. However you are across the road from Gateway and that mall provides a host of all the Hallaal food options that you could choose from.

The penthouse experience was amazing with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The staff was exceptional ly friendly with always having a smile on their face. Wonderful experience for those travelling with other guests
