Ukulhas Villa

The hotel is not what you see in the pictures. The rooms are dark, poorly cleaned, the bathroom and shower were not properly cleaned during our stay. The bedsheets and towels were stained and of very poor quality. The staff were very helpful and nice, willing to help and accommodate. However the place is not what is advertised, and the price we paid was higher than other nicer accommodations in the island.

Ukulhas villa Sadly Ukhulas Villa was not as it appears in the photos and reviews I read prior to booking (Oct 22) 😒 when getting to the island via $50 speedboat I was met with the manager who walked me to the accommodation. The sofa in the 'reception' area has the springs sticking out which ripped my trousers. Mohammed checked me in and took payment. As I was waiting, the area which on photos shows lots of greenary, flowers and clean sandy areas was not as it was in person, I think those photos were taken when it originally opened or renovated and all was tidy and new, this is very much not how it is now, it doesn't seem to be looked after or that standard maintained. I was shown to my 'guest house' which was dark, old, very dusty, plug sockets hanging out the walls, ceiling fan not securely fastened, broken cupboards, old dirty stained towels and bedding even curtains had stains. The wallpaper was peeling off, tiles in the bathroom not fully grouted and the grout that was there was crumbling out. The tiles were dusty, seals and stained or mouldy in the shower area, around the toilet and on the fridge door and seal. I checked for bugs in the bed which I found a couple. The patio was a couple of slabs with dirty chairs and a table, right next to the wall separating the accommodation to the main 'street'. There was rubbish bags, waste materials and the main bin against the patio to my room. When I asked to move the rooms I was shown which were more expensive we're the same and no better in cleanliness or warrant an additional charge. I arranged to move island but as the last boat has left I had to spend the night in the best of a bad bunch of rooms at ukulhas villa where I was bitten by mosquitos and ants in the eating area, having what was a very limited and bland 'buffet'. Before leaving first thing the next day I found the 'bikini beach' at the end of the island which nice but not enough to put up with everything else at somewhere like the Maldives. It's a shame because when I advised I was leaving they were accommodating in giving a refund for the remaining days I originally booked. Wouldn't recommend to visit this accommodation. But would recommend a refurbishment and then maintain standards as feedback for the accommodation.

Very nice rooms, recommend a room on the top floors with views. Beautiful shower with a sea view. Beautiful Beach is 5 minute walk away. They will arrange transfers to and from port. They have very nice excursions : swimming with Mantaray's: Amazing!!! Sand bank trip also recommended!

We had a good time with our family staying here for 4 days. There was always a buffet for breakfast and dinner but I would in the future only book breakfast as there are enough options next to the beach. The hotel room - we had a deluxe room was spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 children. The name villa is a bit misleading as it is simply a room. You walk about 2 minutes to the amazing beach. They got 5 stars as we forgot our iPhone and sent it to another island we were staying after for no charge. That’s what I call real customer service. Thanks a lot again! They change money if you need to for a good exchange rate.

Good accommodations with everything you need to feel welcome and satisfied.. staffs super friendly and careful, we stay 9 nights and only good things to talk about everyone! Thank you guys for all the attention and support! Ronaa, Ahmed, Nazim, lhiyanu! You were amazing! Thanks for everything!

Abu war sehr bemüht und hat immer schnell auf Fragen geantwortet. Die Organisation für die Tour die wir unternommen haben sehr gut funktioniert. Das Zimmer hatte einen sehr schönen Ausblick. Das essen beim all-inklusive war im Restaurant à-la-carte und immer gut zubereitet. Leider gab es keine Sonnenschirme und nur ganz wenige öffentlichen Liegen am Strand Das Reinigungspersonal hat uns jeden Morgen geweckt, es gab keine Möglichkeit ihnen Mitzuteilen nicht zu kommen. In der Dusche war alles voller Algen. Wegen der Umliegenden Baustellen war es leider teilweise sehr laut.
