Nestled beside Gangaur Ghat and just steps from Lake Pichola, Shalom Backpackers Udaipur is the perfect base for exploring the city’s key attractions with ease . The hostel offers a cozy, vibrant atmosphere with a rooftop café that delivers breathtaking lake views—especially at sunset—and a lively common space ideal for meeting fellow traellers. . Rooms and dorms are tidy and spacious, with reliable hot showers and well‑maintained . The real highlight is the staff—particularly manager Nikhil—whose friendly, attentive service stands out. One guest remarked: “Special thanks to Nikhil, who went above and beyond,” helping with everything from check‑in to local tips . All in all, Shalom delivers a great blend of location, community, comfort, and hospitality—highly recommended.

The rooftop of the property serves the best view. Location is feasible and Nearby to all tourist spot. Staff is very friendly and supportive. Big shoutout to Prakhar, he is really doing commendable job and managing the property very fine. I had very great experience with Shalom Udaipur! Will recommend to everyone .

Worst from the start to the end. Bad and unsafe staff Booked a room from 1 week before and didn't get the same room. Fake advertising, rooms that they show they don't give that. Yes I am writing this in full anger but this is my case I am stuck here for 2 nights now I don't have any option but to adjust in this place. Please be very careful before booking in this hotel. No basic help and decency among the people. Unsafe in every manner.

The location is the usp, it is close to major tourist attractions, making it so easy for a solo traveller like me to explore the city without spending too much on transportation. The rooftop restaurant has great view, food is tasty and affordable. Staff is friendly and kind. Prakhar went out of his way to help me have a pleasant stay. Overall great experience. I would highly recommend this property.

Our recent trip to SHALLOM Hostel with the friend group was such an amazing experience! The hostel has a super chill vibe, perfect for groups. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One of the best parts was the common area — we spent hours there playing games, chatting, and listening to music. The location was convenient too, with nearby spots to explore and good food options. The rooftop view, especially in the evening, was so peaceful and gave us a perfect place to unwind.

I had a great and fun stay at Shalom Backpackers Udaipur! The vibe of the place is super chill, and it’s a perfect spot to meet fellow travelers. Very good stay,Very Good property this was my 4th time in Shalom Udaipur, Everything was fine and top notch. The staff is very friendly specially Prakhar and Bhanu they helped me a lot in everything also they accompany me with local tours and Cafe. And Rooftop is always amazing. Nice place.

Great beds. Amazing view from rooftop. Such a warm host, i got a hug from him it made me so happy. love you prakhar bhaiya. staff was nice. food was good. property easily accessible. good location good crowd. very close to ghangaur ghat. washrooms clean.
