Aranya Vilas - A Nature Resort

Bad experience, I had booked villa with pool and breakfast, firstly the property refused to give breakfast as they had booking without breakfast by trip.com, the property said the booking was done by expedia.com, whenever I had done booking from trip.com. after so many negotiations, the property given the room.

Aranya Vilas is the most ideally located luxury resort in udaipur. Beautifully maintained property with options of accommodation in wonderful Tent rooms and cosy spacious villas. Pond facing villas are totally worth the price. With hundreds of trees and plants and a natural pond inside the complex offer a experience to live amidst the nature. You can hear the sound of birds chirping and a few monkeys roaming around at times. The staff is well mannered and attentive with a focus towards warm hospitality. Special mention for Ms. Kusum at front desk who was more than willing to guide us about the property & udaipur as well. Having visited udaipur quite a few times, i can honestly state that the experience at Aranya vilas is beyond comparison. A hidden gem very near to the famous lake pichola is paradise on earth.

The property is great with forest like feel, has a pond and lots of trees and birds. They have only villas and tents. Staff is overall great, though reception folks can get defensive sometimes. My experience was marred by machine noise for some party work going on in the lawns opposite the villa that I was allocated. Also, no privacy since people could be walking on the lawns. Don't expect a lot from meals, especially the breakfast. Some items are great while some can disappoint you.

It was an wonderful experience at Aranya villas..the food was good and the resort itself is a very relaxing spot..I took a luxury tent villa..must visit this place..😊……………………………………………………………………………..The lady at the reception was also very helpful and welcoming

Amazing place right in the lap of nature. 5 star level service and hospitality. Polite and helpful staff. Food is a blend of authenticity and modernity to cater to the taste. Lovely experience. Had an excellent stay. Totally recommend 10/10

This review is specifically for the restaurant. What was supposed to be a quick bite turned into a long dragged out dinner of an hour and 20 minutes. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, a 2 top, a 4 top and then us, a 5 top. We sat with our fellow tour group and after a couple ordered, we also ordered about 5 minutes after. We asked about spiciness level of food items on the menu and was advised to order Tandoori chicken at 0 spicy level. We also ordered a bottled water. Another person ordered fried rice and lassi. Bottled water and lassi took forever to be served and we had to asked for them after the fried rice was already served. Tandoori chicken took a while and didn’t come till after our friends were done eating. Also it was spicy for being ordered 0 level. Server knew we were sharing and we had to asked for plates twice. We also weren’t provided utensils to eat with. While the other couple asked for their bill, we asked for ours as well so we wanted to get out of the restaurant faster but the bill never came. We asked for the bill again after we were done eating and still the bill didn’t come. We were trying to figure out what the 5 staffs were doing and finally had to go up to the service area to get our bill. The staff lacks service concept and should be retrained to figure out that beverages usually is served prior to food. Also servers should be trained to anticipate what is needed…if two people are sharing, bring plates and bring them right away before food gets cold and shouldn’t have to asked a second time.
