Not a good experience, Coach house is not the same. Everything is falling apart. Need I upgrade very soon. Number they give you for room service and other needs they don't even answer. And I don’t moan about answering in 15min time, like 7 hours no respond. And that is the card they give you when checking in. Not great.

This beautiful hotel is very grand and is still very classy. It is showing its age however, but we still had a wonderful experience, with my husband celebrating his birthday at dinner where the staff made his night very special. The staff are excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay.

During our recent stay at the Coach House Hotel & Spa, my husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was incredible. The service was outstanding; the staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The views surrounding the hotel were breathtaking, whether we were sipping coffee on the terrace or unwinding in the spa area. Overall, our stay at the Coach House Hotel & Spa was the perfect retreat for luxury and relaxation, and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommended!

We love visiting the hotel. The ambience is other-worldly and the old-world charm just takes us back. The rooms have been beautifully renovated and the General Manager and staff are super friendly and helpful. We can't wait to visit again, and next time maybe have a spa treatment

Wow, we are lost for words. This is one of the loveliest hotels we have stayed in. We arrived on New Year’s Day to a warm and friendly welcome, a delicious lunch and a team of staff who genuinely could not do enough for us. After checking in to our large and very comfortable chalet we enjoyed the breathtaking views of Agatha forest and a drink in the cosy little bar before heading to dinner. The chef is a magician with a piece of fillet - buttery soft and perfectly cooked. Throughout our week’s stay, we were treated with customer service that was both charming, relaxed and informal yet individual and completely professional. This made us feel both completely at home but so well cared for too. The staff dealt brilliantly with some of the infrastructure challenges caused by huge electrical storms in the area, which can’t have been easy! The facilities include a pool, spa, gym, indoor pool, air conditioning in all the rooms, a very beautiful dining room and an impressive wine list of delicious South African wines. I visited the spa for a relaxing manicure and facial, complemented by lots of chats and giggles with the lovely beauty therapist. The surrounding area is fabulous for walking and exploring - we would recommend the Debengeni Falls and Lekgalameetse Nature Reserve for gorgeous sight seeing. There is simply not the space here to capture everything - this hotel is a total little gem in a truly beautiful part of the world and is highly highly recommended.

Magnificent setting overlooking the mountains and valley. The room was superb - luxurious and well serviced. Room service available The restaurant serve a nice verity and the food can definitely be recommended - the wine list is exceptional. We all gathered in the pub to watch the rugby and the atmosphere was awesome. All staff very friendly and competent. Will be back soon!!

This lovely hotel is magnificently located, with stunning views of the Drakensberg mountains. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. There is a large pool, with wonderful views and lovely gardens. The service is outstanding: efficient and very friendly. The food is excellent.

I had a fantastic suite with all the amenities and comforts. Delicious dinner. Wonderful staff.

Another great stay. Blessing is an insightful and talented manager and she continues to make more and more improvements and upgrades. Staff friendly as always. Chipo highly efficient in reception. Great spa treatments and gardens looking amazing. Thanks to everyone.

Wir kennen dieses Hotel seit 25 Jahren. Damals war es sehr exklusiv, heute nach Übernahme durch die Orion Hotelkette, bedarf es doch sehr einer größeren Renovierung. Aber die Lage ist einmalig mit riesigen Gartenanlagen und Blick auf die Wolkberge. Mai ist natürlich out of Season, wir waren fast die einzigen Gäste. Das Restaurant hat weiterhin Klasse, das Dinner war ausgezeichnet , incl .freundlichem Service, auch das Frühstück. Trotz der Abgelegenheit empfehlenswert als overnight auf dem Weg zum Kruger, wir waren auf dem Weg nach Punda Maria.

We stayed here for four nights. Check-in on arrival was friendly and efficient. The room was very large, but dated. In need of a complete overhaul. Spotlessly clean though and well equipped. Large and comfy bed. Nice patio to sit on, with wonderful views to mountains in the distance. Really enjoyed the buffet breakfasts. One of the four nights was table service, the other three buffet. The table service was prompt and friendly but the food was very slow in coming out. Quality of the food was good, but the more discerning may find fault with it. All the employees were friendly and willing, although I could see from the inconsistency of the service that more training is required. Thomas was great, as was the lady (sorry, didn't get your name) who was making omelet for our breakfast. Very quiet at night, perfect for a good nights sleep. The prices were very reasonable and competitive for what we were getting. Check-out also friendly and efficient. We enjoyed our stay. In a nutshell - rooms and facilities in need of investment and rejuvenation and the lack of it hampers the staff in being able to offer a top class experience. Friendly and willing staff, but with more consistent service needed. But for the price very good value for money.

Excellent location with beautiful views. Rooms are fantastic - huge and comfy with nice easy chairs to relax. Nice verandah. Huge bathroom with shower. Breakfast was tasty and enjoyable. Dinner was pretty pricey, in my opinion. Dining room is impressive with the decor of antiques.

Old World Beauty! Truly majestic views. Staff very friendly and eager to assist. No need to look for a restuarant as they have their own kitchen with good quality food. Rooms are enormous. Everything was neat, clean and tidy. Love the historical background. Will definetly visit again.

Our stay at the Coach house was an unexpected wonderful experience. Our intention was to stay 1 night and it was extended to 3 nights. The location is absolutely fantastic with lovely views. Breakfast and dinner were perfect and certainly the best we experienced during our stay of 3 months in South Africa. Congratulations to the General Manager Blessing Murehwa and her really professional staff. When we are in South Africa next time we certainly come and stay for a longer period. We will recommend the Coach House to our family and all our friends who visit South Africa and that area.
