When we entered the hotel we were greeted by the happiest employee who truly was glad to see us! Check in was great. The room was spacious and the bed was good - except for lumpy or flat as a pancake pillows This and the shower for the mold and lack of shampoo kept this hotel from getting a better review. We called the front desk using an outside line since no one picked up using their I house hotel line. We asked for shampoo- which never came and my husband went down to get it. Breakfast was the “normal@.. imitation eggs, watery oatmeal and a line of 6 people vying for the one waffle maker. Since every Hilton has this (almost)… and it is so popular why don’t they in est in 2 or 3 more?? Anyway… we would stay again for convenience but a few changes would be great!

The breakfast kept this from being a four star rating. They were out of coffee at 9:30 a.m. and we had to get front desk help to get more. Very little bread and breakfast options. No silverware (or plastic ware). Just eggs and sausage. This was on a 3-day weekend but it didn't seem busy. Staff didn't seem very concerned about it. Also, they didn't tell us breakfast was served different hours on Monday--so we missed it. Beware! Room was clean and comfortable. Bed very comfortable. Heat worked well considering it was 12 degrees out. Hallway carpet dirty and run-down. Front staff were nice enough. Especially one woman who was putting the salt out on the patio due to ice and snow. She gave us snacks and stuff for our trip home since we were driving in the snowstorm. No extras either. No all day coffee in lobby. No fruit etc. Very basic seemed like. Surprising for a Homewood Suites.

This place has gotten from bad to worse The black out curtains do not work in any rooms This morning there was no hot water and I tried calling the front desk and as always nobody answers it I went down to complain about it and the front desk staff said they are aware of it and nothing can be done about it Not a single apology and they were so non chalant about it The attitude is so bad Had to book another hotel and check out earlier

Amazing staff! Christine, Asia, Nate, Cassandra and the GM do an amazing job of making everyone feel at home! Super friendly!! Breakfast was good! Room was really nice! Ubuala, Anna, sanjauna in housekeeping keep the place nice and clean! and the maintenance man Kevin works hard keeping up with all the things that need tending too setting up meeting spaces! Everyone is awesome way to go Homewood Suites in Tyler!!

The location was perfect, easy to find, and parking was easily available for handicapped guests. The room had a lot of outlets for charging devices and lighting was plentiful. The shower was fine for me, but my husband complained about the water pressure. The breakfast was okay, but had too many carbs. The robust coffee was good but it ran out fast. The cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired. Carpet, both in the hallways, and in the room, were filthy in places. Fresh towels had to be obtained at the front desk. The same with the shampoo. Soap came in the form of tiny pieces. We had to request room service and when she stopped by, she only gave us towels. No soap. No shampoo. She never. Cleaned the room. We had overflowing wastebaskets. My question is, when did the Hilton hotel chain become a budget hotel? I used to love staying at the Hi,Tom Garden Inns, but not so much the Hilton Homewood suites. The free water was great because we were going to a baseball championship and needed cold water in the 100 degree heat.

Overall better than I’d expected! I’d been debating between Hilton Homewood Suites & Hilton Garden Inn…& Homewood Suites ended up being the better choice for this particular 2-nights-getaway trip. My modern King Studio Suite was spacious, clean, well-decorated, & made me feel like I was in a luxury furnished apartment. Lots of food and local attractions within 3 - 15 min of driving. Great value! The staff was courteous, Nathaniel and all the other front desk staff were welcoming & professional. The interiors & exteriors were well-maintained with the exception of the hot tub, which was closed for repairs. And I’m always appreciative of free parking & complimentary breakfasts. No on-site restaurants but lots that you can walk to if you don’t have a car. Recommend!

My family stayed here due to loss of electricity. When the hotel also lost power we had to leave. My son had an asthma exacerbation and needed his nebulizer. When asked they refused a refund for the night we didn’t even stay. To me this speaks volumes. Room wasn’t even great. Do yourself a favor and find another place.

Needs repair and upkeep. Hall carpet stained and dirty. Shower had not been cleaned. Glass door had dried soap that ran down, hair in corner, nasty crud and a dead bug! No popular tv channels available. Moved ottoman closer to couch, had a hair ball from possibly a cat, not a person! Breakfast was horrible. Very noisy all night. Front desk receptionist was friendly as a snake. Asked for manager, not there. Called later to let her know what all happened. Was told she would call me back. Never heard from her. Motel 6 would have been a better choice.
