Tyalgum Hotel

Lovely pub and friendly staff, unfortunately meals were really average. Had the Italian lamb shank which was quite bland with a tomato sauce and no herbs or flavor and the Island fish curry which was really salty. Disappointed but would come back for a cold beer and enjoy the atmosphere.

Recently I was approached by a manager of the Tyalgum pub, while I was waiting for a coffee....the manager made extremely offensive accusations towards me. After a week of me trying unsuccessfully to make contact & speak with the new owner of the Tyalgum hotel who was either not on premises to speak with or unavailable to speak with. I went to the Tyalgum hotel myself to speak with the owner about the manager & the offensive accusations she said to me, to which the owner' s response was one of ignorance & of no action. To which there is only one thing to say....Rumors & inuendo & assumptions are carried by self haters, then are fed off & spread by fools who state them as fact and then are accepted by ****** who don't have the courage to think for themselves & stand up & do the next right thing. I have a clear conscience & I have nothing to hide or to be ashamed of & I do the next right thing...My name is Greg Thompson, a Tyalgum local for the last 5 yrs.

We were met by Sam and a smile. Easy check in to find very big comfortable clean rooms and amenities. They accommodate all types of genre's. From the chess room to playing pool. My favourite was the fact there were 2 big fires outside to sit around. (there is a large swimming pool also) Fire inside as well. I was with a group of 10 and was delighted when all the meals came out at once. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Well done guys.
