Eftalia Village Hotel - All Inclusive

I have salmonella from the resort. Confirmed by testing once back in the uk. There is an outbreak of cryptosporidium on the resort, wasnt informed before travel. The pool areas never got cleaned to our knowledge. Bins and rubbish where still on the floor the next day. All inclusive was questionable .. only wine and beer and pop and juice, but stacks of water bottles in village apartments. No cocktails and only spirts vodka and whiskey very watered down from the pool bar or jet 2 bar at 8pm.  On the island there's different places for food but in my opinion it wasn't that nice and unhygienic.  The chicken and pizza stalls where nice but nothing to rave about. But after 4pm it's Al a carte. And no info is given on arrival about much really. Rooms basic but cleaned daily. No kettle which I found odd. Waiters only got you a table saved and get your drinks if you tip, we tipped abit but due to going all inclusive we didnt have much money to pay for a service we had already paid, we didn't have alot of spare and money definitely does talk as people had petals on tables held for them at the manic meal times. We often had to walk in and out as it was too full. Food wasn't that great, my son lived on bread and it was repeative. Very different to other all inclusive places we've been. The island was disgusting and dirty. I wouldn't return again although the kids had fun, it was a long transfer, and more cost than we planned but still a nice hot holiday for October. It just didn't really show off turkey all that well I thought especially now as I'm 4 weeks down the line still suffering with the effects of salmonella.

Es war einfach suuuuuper. Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage. Viele Leute und so viel Rutschen, dass wir nicht alle geschafft haben. Zimmer super, Essen ausgezeichnet. Personal freundlich. Sehr laut im Speisesaal aber wegen dem Rutschenpark viele Kinder und somit normal. Besonders möchten wir die Reinigung der Zimmer loben. Wir wohnten in 1101 und Frau ELMAS war echt klasse. Sehr viele künstlerisch gestaltete Figuren aus den Handtüchern , die Qualität der Reinigung und die nette und freundliche Art waren bezeichnend. Aus diesem Grund möchten wir sie extra erwähnen. Schade, dass die Cocktails nicht mit im AI Angebot waren. Sonst noch einmal Beifall und Dank an alle die unseren Urlaub zum schönen Erlebnis machten. Gern noch einmal

Immaculate place, room was cleaned to a high standard everyday. Food very average, very repetitive, prepare for a long queue to get your dinner, food wasn’t overly warm. You have to pay for spirits after 11pm, you have to pay extra if you want a cocktail. Staff weren’t overly friendly, hassled you quite a bit asking if you wanted to try the restaurants you have to pay for. People reserve their sun beds the night before or very early in the morning. Great for kids with the water park etc but other than that it wasn’t much to write home about. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Great hotel of you want food poisoning as 6 of our party of 7 had only the 3 year old was fine probably due to him being a fussy eater.rooms are in a terrible state no sheets for the beds all week just a tatty blanket to cover u up and if you reported something broken it still was not fixed when we checked out.the food if I could of would give a -5× never seen as much slop in my life I know it's a Muslim country but the pigs would have a field day here with all the chavs and council estate kids thinking they own the place The only good thing about this hotel is the slides in the pools for the kids but people spoil these going up them or messing around at the bottom of them. My honest opinionof eftalia hotels is if you want all inclusive that's not and pig swill for your meals this is the place for you personally I would pay a bit more and get better all inclusive and hotel

OK so I will simply bullet point this holiday for you based on a family of four (2 x Adults & 2 x Kids aged 15 & 12) Rooms - We were on the ground floor of Apple block, constantly plagued by ants in the bathroom which we had to floor before using. If you had any crumbs or spills just make sure you clean up or be prepared for an army of them. Our bed was broke on one side and the TV only has the news Chanel in English. Could not be bothered complaining as we only slept and showered in the room so it did the job but I wouldn't pay the money again for these kind of rooms. Simply out dated with only one TV in one bedroom even though we had a two bedroomed apartment. Staff - Old man on reception cant talk English and is very grumpy! Small man on the lobby bar of an evening in a blue t-shirt absolutely miserable. There are better bar staff who should take his job like the ones in the day who are more energetic and happy to have banter. Most staff don't really talk English so be prepared when asking for advice etc. Restaurant - Your asked if you want to pay 1 Euro for orange juice, we didn't as it should be all inclusive but to then be asked at your table by the same person every morning became annoying. The food isn't that good to be honest, unless you like a tone of bread, sloppy cakes, yoghurt with everything, just about cooked eggs, a huge queue for an omelette or toast or coffee...and that's just breakfast!! if you want my opinion on the dinner and tea well its just the same as the above but expect a lot of stew type dishes as it is Turkey but not really much options for kids other than chips, spaghetti and sauce. Bars - Pretty lame!!! only two bars open when the pools close which is a small lobby bar (with the miserable fella) they don't do the spirits here so you have to go to the large pool bar!! although there is queues, if you take big cups with you they will fill them. Other than that its 8-9 Euros for any cocktails which are shocking! my wife got a Daiquiri which was just a slush with vodka, not a thick type!! The cups are minging, they smell like damp rags and really smelly so we were happy with the big cups. Entertainment - Mediocre to be honest, although they try their best, there was no certificates etc for the winners or announcements like all other holidays in other countries we have been to which kind of makes the point of the kids winning things better. The shows were poor, we saw a bubble show which was terrible, an acrobatic show which did the same things for an hour, a Mr Show which was lame, A karaoke night which if it wasn't for the husband and wife who sang Whitney and tome jones it was terrible too. The island - The slides were good for the kids but we didn't stay down there because it just got absolutely chokka with chav families and kids who as you can imagine probably have asbos are just running wild. Dont get me wrong, i know kids are kids but there's kids and there's kids who you just think.....take them home! The s

We visited Eftalia Village for the 3rd time and have had another amazing holiday. The animation team make us feel so welcome. The holiday wouldn’t be the same without them. Especially GG, Speedy and Potter. We love coming to Village, but have heard guests often get moved to a hotel called Senza. I would not be happy to be forced to move, we love Village.
