Sunrise Luxury Apartments

We booked one of the penthouse apartments through Airbnb and only stayed two nights, and although it rained we still had a wonderful stay in luxury! The view is amazing and the unit was well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our kids had a wonderful time in the upstairs play area too. The only issue with rain when staying in a penthouse is that we couldn’t use the outside area as it was uncovered and all wet - first world problems! The units are well located close to the park (including kids playground) and with easy access to Wallis Creek/Coolongolook River for fishing and walking. You can also walk to the local supermarket and to other shops within Tuncurry. We cycled into Forster but it is also a quick drive into Forster. The pool isn’t heated, which seems to be typical of all accommodation in the Forster/Tuncurry area (which I don’t understand, since even pools on the Gold Coast are heated). But it was nicely maintained and our kids still had a quick swim. The reception staff were lovely and helpful, and attentive to our needs and questions.
