Nest Tulum

I booked Nest Tulum after extensive research back in February. I received an email one week prior to our stay that due to "maintenance" they are temporarily closing the property during our stay. We were shifted to Radhoo Tulum and the email was drafted as if we were getting an upgrade, however, to me that doesn't feel like the case. At Nest we booked a 2-bedroom 540sq feet suite so that all 3 of us girls could stay together. Now we have been shifted to 2 smaller 1 bedroom "deluxe suites" at Radhoo, and 1 of us has to stay alone, which would be me. Also, Radhoo is not beachfront, like Nest, and I had already pre-booked transportation for airport/excursions and now I am having to call everyone to make changes. And with such little notice, there's no way for us to change hotels and find something else either. I'm really disappointed.

Excelente lugar y ubicación. La habitación es muy linda y cómoda. El lugar es muy intimo, privado. Su playa esta muy bien ubicada. El restaurante ofrece comida rica y bien preparada. Los jardines están bien cuidados. El wifi es bastante bueno a pesar de que Tulum no se destaca por ello. Nuestra estadía fue hermosa, Edsa, mi esposa también asi lo creyó.

We stayed at Nest Tulum for nine nights and while the setting is undeniably beautiful—with soft white sand, beachfront views, and stylish design—the overall experience was mixed. The reception staff were excellent: warm, helpful, and knowledgeable. They gave genuinely great local tips, including restaurant recommendations and what dishes to try. Our first room at the back of the hotel was a letdown—noisy due to a nearby restaurant playing loud music until 10pm, thin curtains that let in light, and no storage space, forcing us to live out of our suitcases. Thankfully, the team responded to our concerns and moved us to a much better room midway through our stay, closer to the beach and significantly quieter. Breakfast was disappointing. For a nine-night stay, the lack of variety stood out. The included option was just fruit or yogurt, a slice of cake, coffee, and juice—no eggs unless you paid extra. For a hotel at this price point, that felt poor value, especially for guests who look forward to breakfast as a highlight. The beach bar service was also underwhelming. On multiple mornings, dirty plates were left on the sunbeds for hours, and we had to go to the bar ourselves to order drinks, as staff rarely checked in. The hotel provides bikes, which are handy because walking to town is unsafe—the main road has no pavements, poor lighting, and lots of traffic. In short: aesthetically beautiful, great staff at the front desk, but let down by poor breakfast, inconsistent service, and noise in certain rooms. Great for a short weekend escape, but we wouldn’t return for a longer stay.

Nest Tulum was one of the most magical stays I’ve had anywhere. They are a boutique hotel with an exceptional concierge service. Little details are a constant throughout the property. They are situated right on the ocean nestled in the lush jungle like nature that is embedded throughout Tulum. We stayed in the 2 bedroom Garden Suit, which was our little oasis. Thank you for going above and beyond Nest Tulum during our stay. This was certainly a memorable trip that has us wanting to return for more!

We loved our stay at this sexy boutique hotel on Tulum's pristine coastline. From the moment we arrived, the attentive staff provided impeccable service. Shout out to our concierge, Leti who was great at providing us with the best tips for tasting local flavors and experiencing the Mayan culture. The oceanfront location was nothing short of spectacular!

My hubby and I came here for our minimoon and I’m so glad we chose this quaint little hotel to be our host for the week. Everything from checking in - Letty who made us feel so welcome to Edgar, Carlos and the remaining server staff who were so attentive, and friendly. Thank you truly, from my hubby and I for making us feel so special and enjoyable during our stay. Everything was so clean and every single thing we ate was so so good and amazing!! Thank you chef for making our bellies happy and full!!
