Otherwise the hotel is quite good. My wife and I stayed there for four nights in late May. Situated in the heart of Tula, just a short stroll from almost all of its main attractions, including the Kremlin, its location is close to ideal. Breakfast is offered at a ground-floor cafeteria and requires reservations a day before. It's abundant but not really varied, to be honest. The rooms are cleaned daily. Do note, however, that in case you leave anything on the bed, they won't make it. This strange approach is a wide practice in Russia nowadays. Robes are not offered, even at an extra cost. Slippers, meanwhile, are available. A water dispenser is located in the reception area, where one can find a coffee vending machine too. Keep in mind that several rooms lack windows. They have a skylight of sorts, so that visitors don't feel like they are in a prison cell, but in case it matters please check this issue while making your reservation. About fifteen vehicles can be parked in a nearby private lot. For hotel's guests, it's free. To cut the long story short, we enjoyed our stay and would come back.
