Whether you are a brand new couple or you've been together for 50 years, we'd love to have you spend time in our romantic cabin. We know how important it is to forget the stresses of everyday life and focus on each other... Our goal is to provide the perfect getaway cabin to help make this possible. This cabin, referred to as 'The Classic', features an outdoor hot tub on a private deck with a privacy fence. There is a cozy gas log fireplace and all the lights are on dimmers to help set the mood for romantic time together. The bathroom features a quartz shower for two with body sprays. The perfect place to unwind, relax, and fall in love all over again. We now have a total of eight honeymoon cabins to choose from; each cabin with its own unique style. We invite you to stay in each one as you celebrate milestones in your relationship or for other special occasions.' Anniversary get away It was a very quiet time of year and the area was blooming with a lot of different varieties of flowers and trees. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. There were lots of nearby trails to explore. The cabin was very quiet and cozy and had all the basic needs for our stay. There were plenty of places to eat at and shop for supplies to cook at the cabin.

Wonderful Stay! The classic cabin at Golden Anchor Cabins was simply perfect. It had all amenities we could have asked for and then some. It was spotless, comfortable, cozy, and luxurious. The hot tub was a wonderful addition, and the double shower was very nice as well! The cabin felt cozy yet spacious for two people. It had a beautiful view, yet was tucked away and private. The owners were amazing, and they even went as far as to pick up a part for our car in Elkins when it broke down during our stay. We could not have asked for a better place to spend our romantic getaway. I highly recommend Golden Anchor, and we certainly plan to go back!

The classic was perfect Our cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. It was very cozy, we loved having the option to hear with the fireplace or the electric furnace, we chose the fireplace. The hot tub was clean and very relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and would def stay here again.

Anniversary Getaway We were so pleased with this beautiful classic cabin. Also happy to experience the snow upon arrival and had the atmosphere even more beautiful. The pictures are great but it’s even more beautiful in person. You could not ask for more in a cabin. From the coziness, high quality bedding, lighted hot tub, all cleaning or cooking supplies and utensils you could need, cute little tree with Santa and robes offered as well. My husband and I had all we had hoped for celebrating our 32nd anniversary.
