Marlborough B & B

Nanette and Steve are wonderful hosts . We had a fabulous 3 nights in the garden suite . Really comfortable accommodation and having breakfast on the veranda beneath the wisteria was truly memorable . Breakfasts were fantastic and to say they were generous would be an understatement . It was a great base to explore the local area , take in some wineries etc . So much more memorable that another hotel room . Highly recommended and Paddy the black labrador is just a lovely old boy .

Steve and Nanette have done a fantastic job of creating a welcoming B&B experience. We stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon and it was definitely one of our favourite stays on the trip! The breakfast spread was top notch and we were fortunate enough to be joined by the resident fur baby Paddles who is a friendly and gentle black lab who very much enjoyed giving us his best puppy eyes for a little snack. The room was well equipped with nice little extra touches like a jar of cookies and walnuts grown in the garden. There were wine maps and lonely planet guides etc. available in the room and Steve and Nanette were also happy to recommend things to do locally.

Beautiful old historic house and hosts made you feel very welcome. Very comfortable with superb continental breakfast served on a delightful porch with the bonus of a friendly labrador called Paddy to fuss over. Cheese board with bottle of wine purchased on the winery tour a must.

We had a terrific stay at the Marlborough Bed & Breakfast at Woodside. It is the perfect spot to explore the Marlborough wine country. Steve and Nanette were gracious hosts. We stayed in the room at the front of the house, and it was very private with its own entrance and outdoor seating areas. The room was very comfortable for two, even with a bunch of luggage. There is an additional indoor seating area off the bedroom with a refrigerator, microwave and kettle. The bathroom is spacious. Steve and Nanette provided a terrific breakfast both mornings of our stay, with local produce, pastries, and delicious meats and cheeses. We also really enjoyed chatting with them, and will definitely stay there again. And Paddy the Labrador was icing on the cake!

Amazing two nights spent in this bed and breakfast. Such a pretty home. Breakfast and cheese platter were of excellent quality. Both great hosts and super knowledgeable about the area. Was so lovely to retire to this part of paradise after a busy day exploring the area!

"Woodside' is a beautifully restored 19th century house in the country only 10 minutes drive from Blenheim. Our hosts, Steve and Nanette, were a delightful couple and the accomodation is very comfortable. There is a separate annexe but we stayed in a room in the house but with its own entrance. The bedroom is quite large and there is a small (but big enough) lounge with access to the covered deck and a large separate bathroom. Breakfast can be on the private deck if the weather is good or served in the main house. And what a great breakfast it was - fruit, cereal, ham, cheese, smoked salmon, avocado, croissants.....! Thank you Steve and Nanette. We hope to stay again.
