Royalton Grenada, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort

I booked this hotel for my friend's trip to Grenada and she was in love. In fact, she never left the hotel for the entire time. Everything was amazing according to her.

I had a short but really enjoyable stay here and would certainly stay again. It is actually possible to walk from the airport and takes only ten minutes although the road surface isn’t great for wheeled suitcases. There weren’t may members of staff at reception when I arrived in the evening so it took a while to get checked in, and they could have offered a better overview of the services on offer, but everything got better from there. Buggies are available to take you and luggage to the various accommodation blocks and I was impressed with the large spacious room - loads of storage, huge TV, charging sockets next to the bed, arm chair, decent lighting and effective air-conditioning. The bathroom was also a good size with spacious walk-in shower and loads of space around the sink. All the amenities you’d expect were present, including umbrella and slippers in the big wardrobe. There’s a decent range of restaurants across the site, but other than the buffet they all require a reservation and I never got the chance to sample them. The buffet wasn’t the best, with the quality of the food a bit disappointing and each night a number of the ‘stations’ were empty. However the decor was great, drinks service quick and a pleasant atmosphere. My opinion was also the same of the breakfast offering. An overview or detailed description of each restaurant seemed to be lacking in the room, but room service is available 24x7 which is great. The various bars around the complex were brilliant, with fantastic staff and a good choice of options. From relaxing options gazing out to sea, lively bars with music and swim up options, there’s a range of different settings to make every day different. There’s a good number of seating options around both of the pools too so they never feel overly busy. The beach has lots of great beds including cabanas which are available to reserve and while the sand isn’t the cleanest I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent there. All the staff throughout the complex are brilliant - happy and helpful, willing to engage in conversation and always make you feel a welcome guest. Paired with the good quality room and general facilities I would certainly return and it offered a good value break.

This was by far the worst resort I have ever stayed in. We paid close to $3K for 5 nights in a swim up room with Diamond club access. We could not utilize the swim up as it was infested with mosquitoes as well as inside the room. My entire body is bitten up and I have pictures to confirm. We had no wash cloths for 4 days out of the 5. Every restaurant was out of the main items. We had to go off resort to get a good meal. We paid for all inclusive. The premium liquor was scarce several guest complain. We were party of 24, there for a renewal. The manager Brandon ensured me that we would be compensated and then denied my claim. He told me what I wanted to hear knowing that I was checking out. I’ve tried contacting them through email and telephone. I was told they would call back but I have not received a call. I have never left a bad review for anything . I love the Royalton chain. Royalton Jamaica is one of my favorite places. Something has to be done. I must say that my Butlers Rohan and Chantel were lovely and I have no complaints at all about them. They didn’t have housekeepers to clean the rooms and Chantel came in and cleaned it herself. My husband and I told her no but she insisted. If they do not make this right, I’ll be contacting a lawyer.

Cassie, our incredible butler. Her attention to detail and genuine warmth made every day feel effortless. Cassie was always one step ahead. She even surprised us with afternoon cocktails and the sound of the ocean. Pure magic. The room was immaculate, with a patio that felt like our own personal sanctuary. Waking up to the view of Magazine Beach and sipping coffee in the morning breeze was a daily ritual we’ll never forget. Food-wise, we loved the variety. A highlight was a dinner at Dodgy Docks , where we tasted authentic Grenadian flavors—spiced oil down and nutmeg-infused cocktails were divine. Transport was smooth and reliable, with Cassie’s , tips led us to a breathtaking waterfall hike and a spice market that was full of color and culture. We left feeling refreshed, spoiled, and already dreaming of our return. If you’re considering the Diamond Lounge upgrade—do it. And if you’re lucky enough to have Cassie as your butler, you’re in for a truly unforgettable experience. 10/10 would return.
