Maison M Troyes

This was our second time in M Maison Troyes and won't be our last. Firstly, the location is lovely. Along a river and a short walk to the ancient centre. Perfect. It is tranquil and secluded. The common areas are beautiful and well kept. The rooms have everything you need. Ours was huge and luxurious. It was missing a safe, but it felt secure. Breakfast was good. They don't offer a cooked breakfast but it was still good. The owners are very polite and you get the total immersion experience, i.e. they speak French to you! I personally liked this but I can imagine many people struggle. The owners will switch into English if it is important. The one thing that threw me last time and this time is the check-in hours. It is between 17.30 - 19.30. This means that the gates are locked before this and you can neither park there nor store your baggage and go for a walk until 17.30. We had to leave our car outside with all our stuff inside which didn't feel very safe. This 2 hour window is very short and at about midnight we heard a car beeping aggressively to get in. Maybe the owners could think about sending an email via Booking or Agoda upfront telling us this as I had truly forgotten. If they insist on 17.30 (and I have never heard of a check in time after 16.00) then maybe an upfront email explaining where we can park or even giving us the code to the car park so we don't have to worry about our stuff being in the car. Otherwise, if you are aware of this, this place is perfect!

Wonderful place brilliantly placed for exploring Troyes. Building is stunning, immaculately kept and has safe parking if you are en route somewhere. Rooms are high ceilinged with great views over the town. Plenty of local places to eat and drink in the evening . Would thoroughly recommend.

Het B&B tijdens zoektocht tegen gekomen. Na wat opzoekwerk besloten om te reserveren. We hebben het ons niet beklaagd. Grote ruime kamer met bad en douche. Het ontbijt is OK voor zover je niet zoekt naar supergrote buffetten. De gratis parking maakt het plaatje compleet. Alles wat je in de stad kan bezoeken ligt op wandelafstand alsook de vele restaurantjes die Troyes rijk is.

Very nice bed and breakfast .Close to the city .Good breakfast .superb room .troyes is a very nice place to visit .many restaurants and cafes and all are in walking distance from this we'll situated bed and breakfast. This is the place to stay in troyes

Op een unieke locatie, op 2 minuten lopen van de stad, ligt Maison M. Het huis is stijlvol ingericht met een mix van oud bewaarde elementen en moderne inrichting. De slaapkamer is ruim met grote openslaande ramen en een groot comfortabel bed. De badkamer is ruim en mooi ingericht. Het afgesloten parkeerterrein met een automatische poort maakt het plaatje compleet. Het ontbijt is gevarieerd, overvloedig en tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Er is een ruime keuze aan vers fruit, kaas en vleeswaren. De gastvrouw is charmant en gastvrij. Het is heerlijk toeven in de historische straten van Troyes met zijn mooie vakwerkhuizen, kathedraal, kerken en interessante musea. Er zijn heel veel gezellige restaurants, bars en koffiezaken. Wij hebben genoten, merci !!!!

Our second Troyes visit and the first at Maison M. Maison M will be our "go to" for the future. Michelle and Bruno were lovely hosts. The property offers a large courtyard with parking and fronts the channel from across the street and is a short walking distance to Troyes' center and other historical sites; everything you might want to do in Troyes. The room was luxurious with high ceilings, a comfortable bed, a separate sitting room with refrigerator, a spaciously modern bathroom with a separate bath and a separate shower and, also, a separate toilet room. The sideboard breakfast was perfect to start our day. Highly recommend!
