Positive: The hotel is in a very good location. The building is modern. The climbing wall is cool, the staff is friendly and the spa is also okay. The gym was much better than I expected with their modern and new treadmills. The kids club is nice too. Negative: The room cleaning is poor. There is no place to hang the towels, eventough there is enough space on the wall to put some towel racks on it. Getting a coffee is difficult, they say that the lobby bar is open but usually no staff is there. The tea pots and mugs are dirty at breakfast.

The hotel exceeded our expectations! The food is incredible - a lot of variety at both breakfast and tea times to suit all tastes. The gluten free options were also good. The packed up breakfast for our early departure was a good touch too. The swimming pool and saunas were great after a long day on the slopes. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The very modern interior that is mentioned in lots of reviews is fine, just part of the hotel. Thank you for a great stay. We would return again!

Empfehlenswertes Hotel. Insgesamt alles ok und empfehlenswert. Mankos: von den insgesamt 6 Duschen in der Disco-Sauna funktionierten nur 2 vollständig, bei den anderen kam entweder kein Wasser oder die Temperatur ließ sich nicht regeln. Da jedoch nur wenige Besucher in der Sauna waren, war das für mich kein Problem. Restaurant: Das Essen war vorzüglich(!). Großes Lob an die Küche. Service: vermutlich aufgrund von Personalmangel war nicht immer der/die zuständige Servicekraft zugegen und gelegentlich dauerte es einige Zeit, bis eine Bestellung aufgegeben werden konnte. Rezeption: sehr zuvorkommend!.

Modern anmutender Betonschick ohne Atmosphäre, aber ernüchternd billig funktional - einmal farblich abgespritzte Feuchtraumtrennwände, die mit Zeitablauf abblättern. Die Fensterdurchsicht auf die Landschaft ist aufgrund des punktuell angebrachten Sichtschutzes nur stellenweise gegeben; wäre auch, uns unserem Fenster, auf die ernüchternde Umgebung kein Gewinn gewesen. Der 90cm×90cm Dunkel-WC-Bereich kann nur als beängstigend eng und spottbillig bezeichnet werden, bedenkt man den verschwenderisch dem Zimmer vorgelagerten abgetrennten Vorraum. Das 1,60m-er Bett ist der Raumkonzeption geschuldet, hat aber unser mit 4* erwartetes WohlfühlNiveau nicht getroffen, einfach auch billig in der Umsetzung. Die Parkplatzflächen erscheinen im Rohzustand aufgrund des Rollsplittes, die Randbefestigungen sind abgefahren, z T. aus der ursprünglichen Position. Ausserst angenehm haben wir den MitarbeiterService wie ebenfalls die kulinarische Vielfalt der Küche empfunden; dies verdient eine positive, herausgehobene Erwähnung. Aber ein insgesamt zufriedenstellender Aufenthalt war es für uns aus der vorgenannten Wahrnehmung nicht.

Wir wollten nach einem tollen Italien Camping Urlaub noch 3 Nächte in einem schönen Hotel in Österreich verbringen. Wir waren etwas enttäuscht von den Zimmern. Duschkabine winzig klein, Toilette und Waschbecken vor dem Zimmer in einem Vorraum. Dieser ist aber nicht abgeschlossen zu den anderen Zimmern. Man kann sich nicht sehen, man hört aber Alles! Der Service und das Personal waren sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Essen und Trinken waren sehr fein. Es fehlt an Nichts!! Leider ist es im offenen Treppenhaus bis spät in die Nacht sehr laut. Kinder spielen fangen, schreien rum. Das wäre dringlichst zu verbessern, da auch viele kleine Kinder da sind, die abends schlafen. Evtl wäre ein Aufenthaltsrum mit Tür ein Verbesserungsvorschlag für die Jugend.

I’m not sure why this review has taken me so long to write as this hotel is absolutely outstanding in every single way. We went as a large(ish) group of friends , 6 x adults, 8 x kids and 1 x baby (and a partridge in a pear tree ) over New Year. It was our kids first time skiing and the whole resort, hotel, amenities did not disappoint! Walking distance to the slopes, in room ski/boot room, ski hire next door, incredible breakfast and evening buffet with high quality (healthy) and varied food choices plus lots of added extras that make this hotel really special. I’m not sure how we managed it but we skiied all day, came back to the hotel, went swimming in the beautiful indoor/outdoor pool (with view of the slopes) the kids went off to the kids clubs (fully staffed with brilliant people so parental supervision not required), adults chilled at the bar and then for our evening meal (which once the kids had finished they resumed their wide variety of activities in the kids club allowing us to have more wine and really relax!) A party was put on by the hotel for NYE complete with oysters, photo booth, fireworks, live music and goulash soup at midnight. Plus other evening entertainment on various nights. The climbing wall was a big hit and available at any point during the day/night, we didn’t use it as much as we’d envisioned as there was so much else to do! Yes the rooms are a touch clunky and loud when in the boot room area but once in the bedroom section the noise is minimal and the beds super comfy. And let’s be honest, all you’re doing is sleeping there so it was more than perfect Since returning, we’re planning our next trip already, best skiing holiday ever, Nassfeld and the Franz Ferdinand hotel really are outstanding!
