Let's be honest , u don't have that much of a competition in tripoli in the category of a 5 star hotel , hence , it's more or less an easy task to stand alone , however , the hotel is not bad , room is spacious , views from the room are amazing , staff need to be more friendly specials those working during breakfast, gym is great and the pool area is great too

Excellent hôtel avec de très bonnes prestations de service, Idéalement situé en plein centre ville et proche de toutes les commodités et du centre historique convient pour les voyages d'affaires et même pour les voyages privés. Faut pas hésiter à sortir à pieds là foire des expositions est toute proche (10 mn de marche) la casbah et saha khadra 10 à 15 mn de marche.

We stayed here for five nights as tourists and very much enjoyed our stay. It's the best hotel in Western Libya and is a short walk to the old city and about 20 minutes to the Mitiga airport. The hotel is very secure with all cars checked by a sniffer dog for explosives and all luggage searched with an X ray machine before you can enter the lobby. You can't even drive up alongside the lobby with your bags but need to park a little way away and lug your bags in to the hotel. The lobby is spacious and the receptionists were friendly and quickly checked us in. Our room was also very spacious and clean with a nice sea view. Beds were comfy and there is both a bathtub and shower. There is free WIFI which worked in the lobby but we weren't able to get it to connect in our room. (You can buy a Libyan SIM card quickly at the airport for 5 Euros (20 GB). On one day (a Friday) our room wasn't serviced. But when we asked for clean towels the attendant who delivered them asked us if we wanted the room serviced and it was done for us. The buffet breakfast was good but not exceptional: the danish and croissants were especially lack lustre. Still lots of healthy choices and a chef that makes eggs and crepes to order. Service was also hit and miss. The highlight of the hotel for us was the spa with a spacious indoor and outdoor pool and large sauna and steam room facilities. They also have a well equipped gym. This is open until 10 PM. The attendants there are all very friendly and helpful. There were numerous conferences during our stay but few overnight guests. We would happily stay here again despite the few service irregularities mentioned.

Hotel grand,prope tres bien situe dans le centre de la ville de Tripoli mais il lui manque cette touche de folie d'un 5*.On est sur sa faim,la chambre est immense,bien rangee,service de nettoyage impec.Les fenetres ne s'ouvent pas (par securite). Le petit dej est assez varie et correct. Service de securite au top .
